I break down and fall to my knees.
Just the thought of Johnny has tears falling down my eyes. I am honestly so scared. If he can find my apartment there, what is stopping him from coming to the penthouse?
“Baby, tell me what’s going through your head?” Parker says as he gets on the floor next to me.
He puts his arm around me and I collapse into his arms.
Crying my heart out is exactly what I need. I need to let all this fear out.
I cry for over ten minutes before I start to pull myself together.
Sniffling, I see a wet spot in Parker’s shoulder.
“I am so sorry,” I said embarrassed.
Sometimes I can be so gross. Crying all over my man.
I freeze.
Did I just call Parker my man?
Is he my man?
Do I want him to be?
“No need to be sorry, Cam. You are going through a lot right now and if soaking my shirt is what you need to do then do it.”
I look into Parker’s big eyes and see love staring back at me.
Does he love me?
Do I want him to love me?
My brain is going in circles and I do the only thing that I truly want in that moment.
I kiss Parker.
Our lips meet forcefully and I know I caught Parker off guard as he pulls back.
“Are you sure?” Parker asks.
“I’ve never been more sure of anything,” I confess before kissing him again.
His pillow soft lips move against my own and I get lost in the feeling.
The feeling of peace. It is as if kissing him is my heaven. His lips are a gate and his tongue is God’s gift to the world and I want that gift everyday.
Just kissing Parker makes me forget all about Johnny. All I can think about is how perfect our mouths meld together. It is as if he is made for me.
Maybe Parker is meant to be mine. It makes sense. I mean, we both like one another and we have a history.
He is Josie’s older brother, I had a crush on him as a child, we met again years later and I am his nanny. It is as if fate has brought us together.
I never believed in fate before but with Parker everything just makes sense. Fate brought us back to each other and I am determined to not waste this chance.
With my mind made up, I push Parker away and get in his lap.
I grind down on him as our lips continue to move against one another.
