He swung a leg over his seat, fired up his bike and shot off like a bullet. He was at Bling in no time. He backed his bike to the curb so that he was facing outward, then hopped off. He pushed through the door, that damn bell above it tinkling as he entered. He did a quick scan of the store, but couldn’t find Bellamy. Cathy was at the cash register and when she saw him, she motioned to the back. He gave her a chin lift and headed down the hall. Seeing the office door was open, he took that as an invitation to enter. He closed and locked the door behind him, wanting to share this moment with Bellamy without any interruptions.

She was sitting behind her desk, a huge smile on her face in greeting. “Wow. You were faster than I thought.” She spun her chair so she was facing him, her head tipped back looking at him with the cutest silly grin he’d ever seen.

“What did you expect? You can’t send a picture of a positive pregnancy test to a man and not get an immediate reaction out of him.”

He came to a stop next to her chair and extended his hand. She willingly took it and allowed him to pull her up and into his body. He cupped both sides of her face and pulled her into a kiss. He didn’t want her to have any doubt as to how excited he was at the news they were going to be parents. He put everything he was feeling at this moment into that kiss. When they pulled away, he was pleased to see the dreamy, half-lidded way her eyes looked back at him.

“Wow,” she whispered.

“Pleased you liked that.” He dropped his hands so they settled at her waist. He flexed his fingers and waited until he had her full attention. “Baby. Now you going to marry me?”

“Of course, I’m going to marry you.” Her hands settled on his chest.

“No. You’re not hearing what I’m saying. Now. Right now, are you going to marry me?” The way her brows dipped in confusion was so fucking cute.

Her head jerked back as what he said finally registered. “What? You mean, now, like right this minute, get married?”

“Yes. That’s exactly what I mean. Let’s hop on my bike and head south. We could be in Las Vegas in eleven hours. We’ll get married tomorrow and come back Sunday. We’ll have a blow out party next weekend and invite everyone.”

“What about your kids? Didn’t you want them to be a part of all this? Or you club?” She patted his chest affectionately.

That had always been the plan when they’d discussed wedding plans, but her being pregnant changed all that. At least it did for him. His main goal now was to give her his last name before the baby got here.

“Baby, my kids don’t have to be at the wedding. All they want is for me to be happy and to do that I need you to marry me. They’ll have fun at the party.”

“What about the honeymoon?” Her eyes dropped to where her hands lay on his chest. Did she think she wouldn’t get one if they eloped?

“Baby, we’ll have a honeymoon. We’ll take one in a couple of weeks after we figure out where we want to go.”

“What about my grandmother and Preacher? He wanted to give me away.” Again she stared at his chest, keeping her eyes diverted.

From previous conversations about what they wanted as far as the ceremony went, where it would take place and who would be maids of honor and groomsmen, he knew how important it was for her to have her brother walk her down the aisle and for Martha to be present. He hated taking that away from her, but this was very important to him. He prayed he could convince her and then he’d spend the rest of his life making it up to her. He believed that if they didn’t do this now, it might not happen for another year and a half. She’d want to wait for the baby to get here. Then she’d need time to lose her baby weight. So, yeah, he wanted this to happen now.

“How about we find someplace that will do a live feed while we’re getting married and we’ll get a DVD or e-file or whatever the fuck they do now? That way my kids, your family and the club can all be a part of it.” He paused and took a breath as her eyes raised to meet his. “Now. Can you come up with any other reasons why we can’t do this now?” He gave it a second or two and when she didn’t immediately come up with something, he added, “If you think about it, us taking off to get married in Vegas is so our thing. Our relationship has been anything but conventional or predictable. Why should exchanging our vows be any different?”

“I don’t have your ring yet and I don’t have a wedding dress.” She hadn’t had time. Between her business, Trick and Lindsey’s wedding and Calliope giving birth to Harper, her plate had been pretty full. If he could sway her, they’d get one of those wedding coordinators to plan the whole thing for her and all they’d have to do was show up.

“We can get all that in Vegas.” He settled his hands over hers on his chest and gave them a gentle squeeze.

“But it’ll be so expensive to buy there.”

Her concerns were valid, but he was about to hog tie her and take off if she didn’t agree soon. “Baby, I got money. It’ll be fine.”

Bellamy nibbled on her bottom lip as her shining brandy-colored gaze stayed focused on him. He could practically hear the wheels in her mind working.

“Well, if you’re sure. I say let’s do this.” She slung her arms around his neck and pulled him down for a kiss.

And that’s how they ended up getting married in Las Vegas.

* * *

Today was her wedding day!

Bellamy couldn’t believe that she’d let Race talk her into eloping. To Las Vegas. At Caesar’s Palace. She felt as if she were dreaming. Everything they’d been doing since they got here was leading to the moment she would be walking down the aisle to exchange wedding vows with the man of her dreams. He’d been right when he said that their relationship had been anything but normal. Eloping made perfect sense for the two of them.

With the help of one of the hotel wedding coordinators they’d been able to set up everything. From the marriage license to getting an officiant to music to photography and a florist. The coordinator had even helped her procure a beautiful wedding dress. It was a white floor-length, sleeveless dress with a high neck. The dress was form fitting, but not second skin tight. From the high waist, above the belly button area, it was sheer lace applique with two solid white cups beneath the sheer material to cover her boobs. It gave a nice peek at her skin but kept the good stuff covered. The back was also sheer lace applique in a racer-back style with tiny white buttons. The skirt fell from above the knee in long, flowing material ending in a sweeping train. It definitely fit her full boobs and booty perfectly.

She was getting the finishing touches done to her hair and makeup and glanced at the clock. Ten more minutes and she would be walking down the aisle to Race. She could hardly wait. She’d managed to pick out a ring for him this morning. It was a simple white gold band. On the inside she’d had engravedForever and a day.She slipped his ring on her finger and she had to close her hand in a fist to keep from dropping it.
