I couldn’t stop, ramming into her with a passion fueled by fury, the past few days almost getting the best of me. This was how to live, sharing filthy sex with a stranger.

“Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh.” Her cries and the way she tossed her long hair from side to side were almost as spectacular, pushing me into a primal state of need. When her entire body tensed, I only fucked her even harder, pushing us both to the point of no return. “Yes. Yes. Yes…”

She climaxed, throwing back her head with a sharp scream. I refused to stop, slamming her body against the wall, every sound I made guttural. My mysterious guest clawed the wall as the single orgasm grew into something more potent.

“That’s a good girl. So hot. So wet.” My voice was no longer recognizable, my thoughts muddled, except my obsessive nature couldn’t help but long to keep her.

Panting, she met every brutal thrust, bucking hard against me. In the next few seconds, I knew there was no way of holding back any longer. And as I erupted deep inside, I realized there were few things better to put life into perspective than filling a beautiful woman with my seed.

The slight roar I issued was accentuated by the sound of my phone. Annoyance rushed into my psyche, but it wasn’t something I could choose to ignore since I had men searching the streets for information.

“Stay right here, beautiful doll.” I pulled out, shoving my cock back into position, barely zipping before yanking the phone from my jacket pocket. “This had better be good. Tell me you found something.”

Rocco snorted. “Not what you were hoping for. A series of threats were just made by an anonymous sender. And I’m talking five minutes ago.”

“How?”

“Sent to every email address for the executives of Thibodeaux Holdings, including your father.”

Fuck.

“The commercial email addresses or the ones unknown by other sources?” I walked further away from the lovely distraction, trying to concentrate on business instead of my aching cock.

“The commercial ones, although if I were you, I’d check your personal email,” Rocco suggested, and I could tell by the strange tone of his voice there was a specific reason why.

“And why is that?”

“Because the email was obviously a direct threat to you personally.”

I took a deep breath. Personal. Maybe this had nothing to do with business. “I’ll do that. Tighten down security. Have our computer team try and locate the IP address or anything that might provide an indication of who sent the string.”

“Already on both.”

“What did the threat say?”

“That it was past time for the soulless enforcer to pay for the sins. Clever, eh?”

The sins. That could mean whatever was issuing the threat was purposely targeting the man with the muscle in the family, but not necessarily the one who’d perpetrated whatever crime he believed the family deserved to pay for. Revenge was a fickle animal.

And it was living and breathing.

The note had been written in anger. Either way, I considered it very personal indeed. “I’ll see if the asshole expounded on it in my email. Just let me know if anything else happens.”

“Will do.”

I ended the call, thinking about my next move. While I’d been fucking a stranger, my entire world had been threatened. What sin would provoke someone into doing something so stupid asto attack the entire Thibodeaux family? There were too many possibilities in my father’s past to list, many of which neither I nor Arman had been privy to. Had I killed more than one man to keep the peace? I had, but to the best of my knowledge, few had been worth planning an extensive level of revenge for.

I rubbed my jaw, realizing my entertainment for the evening was over. It was time to send the tasty treat on her way.

When I turned around, I shook my head. She’d already beaten me to it.

The mystery girl had disappeared.

CHAPTER 8

Delaney

I’d succumbed to running home.
