Yet it didn’t stop her movements, the woman now taking what she wanted. I sensed she was close to orgasming, her pussy muscles clenching and releasing, drawing my cock in as deep as physically possible.

“Oh. You are so bad. This is so very bad,” she managed, her moans escalating.

“You’re the bad girl, my sweet and perfect doll. But I think this is what you want to be.”

“Only when I’m around you can I feel such freedom.” She took several gulping breaths, chewing on her lower lip yet when the climax rushed into her, she threw her head back and I could tell by the rapid pulse in her neck she was issuing a strangled moan.

“That’s it, baby girl.” There was nothing like the feeling of her wet, sizzling hot pussy or the way she was gasping for air.

When she finally lowered her head, her body continued to shake in my hold. She pressed her forehead to mine, still rocking against me.

“God, woman. What I could do to you.”

“I want it all. Do everything you want.”

Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed Daniel approaching quickly. When I tensed, Delaney immediately noticed.

“What’s wrong?”

“I don’t know.” I eased her aside, careful how I did so. Then I immediately rose to my feet, shoving my cock back into my trousers. “What is going on?”

“We need to get back to the house,” he said, doing what he could to avoid looking directly at Delaney.

“Why?”

“I’m so sorry, boss. There’s been a fire.”

CHAPTER 20

Delaney

I jumped out of the back of the vehicle before Daniel had a chance to park. While there were firefighters already fighting the horrific blaze, the one we’d seen from the street seconds after turning down the road where Francois lived, it didn’t matter to me.

Saving the puppy did.

I was barefoot, bolting toward the house, ignoring the screams coming from all sides of me. Nothing was going to stop me from getting inside.

“Where’s Sadie?” I screamed.

“We’ll get her, baby,” Francois said, trying to comfort me, dragging me back by several feet.

“No. No! Sadie!” I screeched, seeing the flames licking from the roof.

“Jesus Christ,” Daniel muttered.

“It’ll be okay, Delaney,” Francois told me, trying to grip my arm. “I’ll fucking kill whoever did this.”

“How? How the fuck is it going to be okay? Where is the puppy?” Rushing forward, I yanked the arm of one of the firefighters, who glared at me as if I had two heads.

“Mark. What the fuck is going on?” Francois demanded from behind me as one of his men approached. The guy was fucked up, his face blackened from soot.

He took gulping breaths, struggling to breathe let alone talk. “I tried… Men shot off… Explosives. I don’t know.”

“Where is Sadie, the dog?” I demanded, turning back toward them.

He did almost the same thing as the firefighter, glaring at me as if he didn’t understand.

I spun around in a circle, scoping the area, praying the puppy had gotten out. “Sadie. Sadie?”
