“Not really. I’ve seen Dash fight. He can hold his own. We know your stepfather’s in jail, so it’s not like he’s going to be there to hurt him too.”

“True.”

“Did anyone else notice how much Tristan looks like El?” Reed asked curiously.

Casper turned. “Right? It’s fucking freaky.”

“Not exactly the same, but I get what you’re saying,” I said.

Reed put his arms around me. “No more wandering off for you. Who knows the trouble you’ll get into?”

“Apparently, I can’t even take Starry out.” She took that as a cue and wedged her body between Reed and me.

“We should probably be with you when you’re outside,” Casper stated. “Anyone can get to you out here.”

“Or you,” I replied. “I’m not the rock star. You two are.”

Casper put his arms around Reed and me. “But you’re the guy fucking the rock stars.”

I ducked, not able to stop the rush of heat from crawling up my neck. “Not yet.”

One of my favorite things was when Casper buried his face in my neck, just like he did now. “Mmmm, whenever you’re ready, love. Say the word.”

“I still can’t believe you both would let me do that to you.”

“Don’t you understand how much we love you?” Reed asked. “We’d do anything for you. Though I would like to see you fuck Cas. When and if you’re ever ready. I’ll probably blow the second you bend him over.”

“Reed,” Casper growled against my skin, sending a chill skating across my neck.

“I think we should go inside,” I told them.

Casper’s head shot up. “You’re ready now?”

“No, but I’m hard and would very much like to do something about it.”

Reaching down, Casper gripped the backs of my thighs to lift me so I could wrap my legs around his waist. He grinned. “I like having you here.”

“I like being here.”

Starry started barking and running around us in circles, clearly unsure what to do about me being picked up.

“All right, inside,” Reed told her.

We were able to keep Starry out of Reed’s bedroom so we could get off. It wasn’t slow. It was quick and messy as hell, but I enjoyed every second of it.

CASPER

Pages upon pages of notes. Songs left unfinished. Words never put to recorded music. I’d lost count of how many notebooks I had. There was a safe in my house with them tucked inside, but I always kept one on me. My music didn’t make the list only because I didn’t share it. I kept it to myself. Slater and Reed were our song creators. I didn’t mind as long as I got to play.

My fingers moved over the strings, caressing them as I worked on yet another song, writing what I played.

Reed’s studio was empty, except for me sitting in it. I had the lights on, but the door was open. I wasn’t beating the drums like Dash or belting out vocals like Reed. What I was doing was quiet and subdued.

My mind kept drifting to the past week. Elic, Reed, and I had gotten off so much I was surprised I had anything left in me. When Elic was at work, it was all Reed and I could do to keep our hands off each other. Everyone knew we were together. I wasn’t running from him any longer. I was insatiable where the two of them were concerned.

I’d fucked Reed countless times while Elic watched and joined in. But he hadn’t been penetrated yet and didn’t fuck us either. Reed and I were content to go at whatever pace Elic wanted. I didn’t care as long as I got my hands and mouth on them.
