Myrtle changed into the nightgown and emerged. “I have a support system. They held my hand while I was in pain and kept me company around the clock for the last few weeks. In fact, I am pretty sure they are going to be freaking out as we speak. I should really text them or send a photo or something.”

Keres grinned. “Why not a group photo?”

“Do you think they would?”

Three voices spoke from the doorway. “Absolutely.”

She looked at them, and they all had loosened collars and cuffs. They looked relaxed and eager at the same time like leashed large dogs.

She fumbled in her sweatsuit and found her phone. She walked up to them, turned around, and took a selfie, holding two fingers in a vee next to her eyes, adding the captionGot a makeover, met some new friends, now I have mates and seem to be on the mend. Kisses.

When she hit send, she grinned until there was the definite slide of a hand across her waist. Denith. He seemed to need contact the most.

She looked up at Denith. “You are going to be my mattress. The other two can cuddle in from the sides for a more even distribution of energies.”

Denith beamed. “Excellent.”

Teyval smiled. “Keres made an excellent suggestion.”

Byron nodded. “No objections here.”

Denith kissed her cheek and walked over to turn down the bed. He shrugged and flicked the bedding off. She thought of shivering away the last few weeks and frowned.

Byron murmured, “We tend to run hot, so you will be fine.”

She nodded, and Denith stripped down to underwear and held out his arms. It was a very cute pose for such a big guy.

Keres chuckled. “Stay as long as you need. I believe that Teyval has set up a home for you, but it is being tidied, so this will be your home for a few days.”

Teyval chuckled. “It is being remade the same way this property is.”

Keres nodded. “Gotcha. I will leave you to it. Get some rest.” She closed the door behind her.

Myrtle walked to the bed and crawled into Denith’s arms. He made a delighted sound and rolled around with her pinned to him. She grunted until Teyval snorted. “Stop wallowing with her. She’s getting dizzy.”

Denith grinned. “But now the whole bed smells like her.”

Byron nodded. “Good point.” He crawled onto the bed on the side nearest the window. Teyval took her right.

Denith lay flat with her on top of him. The other two covered her back and thighs with their hands and forearms. She was warm in no time and out in under a minute.

Chapter Three

She was super warm, and there was an annoying sound coming from nearby. It took her a few seconds to realize it was her own snoring. She snapped her mouth shut and muttered, “Sorry.”

She opened her eyes and was looking directly at Teyval’s face. He was smiling. “Denith’s heartbeat is normal again. He’s in balance.”

Myrtle took stock of where hands were, and Denith’s had made a home for itself under her nightgown and between her thighs.

“Why does his hand always end up there?” she muttered.

Teyval’s expression turned into a wide grin. “You do understand how this works, yes?”

“Yes, but I am going to complain and act befuddled and make you guys explain right up until the moment and then pretend nothing happened.”

“Interesting strategy.”

“It works in fiction. I am not sure about reality.” It was bizarre to be having the conversation with two long, thick fingers snuggled inside her.
