A breeder after all, though I was encouraged by my mates not to say that word out loud. They hated it. I didn’t. Having their babies was what originally brought me here.

It was certainly not the reason I stayed, but I didn’t regret a moment of a thread that weaved my fate, belonging to the three most incredible men on the planet.

I felt the cotton before I saw the T-shirt and plucked it out of the drawer. Squealing out of joy, I pulled it over my head and then over my ever-growing belly.

“Find what you need?” Saber asked, leaning against the doorframe. His legs were crossed at the ankles, and he smirked, gaze roaming over my form.

“I did. None of my shirts fit me anymore, and there’s no way I’m wearing those pleated, weird maternity shirts.” Menace had ordered me some, and I’d promptly returned them the next day. They weren’t my style. Besides, I had three orc mates with broad shoulders and torsos, so their shirts did the job perfectly.

“There’s no protest from me. You can wear my shirts anytime you want. In fact, you can wear only that if you’d like.”

While my appetite had become rabid, so had my other hungers, and my mates were more than willing to satisfy all of them. “Yeah, a walking whale. Sounds sexy.”

“Hey,” he said, his tone evolving from playful to soothing. “I don’t want to hear that. You are stunning like this, growing our babies inside you.”

My orc men couldn’t go to a human OB/GYN appointment, so we’d done some digging and found a witch midwife who didn’t mind the greenish skin or the tusks. In fact, she was happy for us and there every step of the way, even when I called her in the middle of the night when the babies first kicked me. She had come over with ultrasound equipment, and that’s how we first got a look at our sons.

Yeah, in one more month, I would be squeezing out three orc sons. Orc gestation time was shorter than a human one and while that was good for me, it was also jarring. I didn’t have the full nine months to get used to the idea of being a mother to triplets.

I blew out a breath and accepted Saber’s warm embrace. “I know you see it that way and I’m appreciative of your words but I see my body changing every day. It’s…I’ll get used to it.”

Saber nuzzled the junction between my neck and shoulder, making my skin break out in goose bumps. Menace walked in as well. “Supper’s ready, you two. Should I say you five?”

I looked at him over Saber’s shoulder. “So funny. What’s for dinner?”

“Draven’s Friday night special. Come on. I know it’s your favorite.”

We left the bedroom for the dining room where the food was all ready and Draven awaited me. He kissed my forehead before telling me to sit down.

“Friday night special for our mate.” He set a plate in front of me with a double bacon smashburger, along with sweet potato fries and spicy ketchup. The Draven Friday night special meal had evolved several times over the course of my pregnancy. Regular fries were switched for sweet potato, and the fry sauce changed nearly weekly.

“You spoil me.” I grabbed one of the fries.

“I know,” he answered and made plates for everyone. The rest of the night would include banana splits and a movie of our choice. They would watch most of it, but then Menace would fall asleep on the couch. Saber would inevitably fall into a book. And Draven would rub my belly or my back throughout the entire thing. We would all go to bed. Friday nights were the best.

Honestly, every night with these three was the best. And the days.

“Oof!” I sucked in a breath.

“What is it?” Menace said, coming out of a burger-and-fries-induced coma.

“One of your sons rammed his foot into my ribs. Didn’t feel the best. That’s all. Shit. I need to stand up. Maybe I can stretch and get him to knock it off.”

Saber and Draven helped me stand because beach-ball belly, and once I stretched left and right, one of the little guys decided to remove his limb from my chest cavity.

“Are you okay now? Do we need to call Linelle?” Menace already had his phone out and was about to dial the midwife.

“No. He’s only exercising. Getting a jump on that warrior training. I’m fine.”

“Well, now that I’ve had a power nap, maybe we can get mama in for some training.” Menace didn’t have a slick bone in his body, and I loved him exactly the way he was.

“I think that will make me feel a lot better.”

We went to my bedroom, and I watched them take off their clothes.

“What?” Saber asked. “See something you like?”

“No.” I shook my head. “I see three orcs that I love.”
