When we’re done, we head outside to where the others are. “Anything? He had to of taken them to the cabin, right?”

Vance nods. “That is what we assume. The guys are working to find it by tracking the vehicles through street cameras close by. It would seem they dislike working with Nerds.” His lips tilt up.

Rage chuckles, but there isn’t much joy behind it. “Nerds said the same thing.”

Rage’s phone rings, and he quickly answers it, putting it on speaker. “What do you have?”

“We have a direction. I’m sending you what I have so far. Start driving. We are still tracking, but it is harder to find the car they took them in the farther out they go. Vance’s guys are searching the area for cabins.”

We all load up and head out with Rage, giving the leading car directions of where to go. We head out of Jacksonville. It’s about forty-five minutes later that Nerds calls again. “Alright, you’re in the area. There are five different cabins that we have marked as options. You are looking for a black SUV with no license plate.”

We all go quiet as each car slows down, a few turn off to drive down the long driveways and check cabins. As we are passing a driveway, something catches my eye. “Stop! Back up.” Stone backs up a little bit and I jump out of the truck. There is a mailbox attached to a wooden post at the end of the driveway. None of the others caught my attention, but this one did. It is painted white with a flowery design on it. I know without a doubt Presley did it.

“This is it.”

“How do you—” The words cut off as I take off running down the driveway towards the cabin, not caring to talk it out first.

As soon as I get close, I see the SUV parked on the side of the cabin. No one is outside, so I run up to the first window I see and peek in. I hear the others coming up behind me. They must have left the truck towards the end of the driveway.

“Anyone?” Stone murmurs. He has been deathly silent and stone-faced since we realized Presley and Raven were gone. He may not be able to admit it, but he cares for Raven, and this is deeply bothering him.

I shake my head. “I don’t see anyone anywhere.”

“There is only the one car, so my guess is there are only two other people here with him.”

“Such a fucking idiot,” Blade mutters behind us. He runs over to the door and quietly picks the lock.

I lay a hand on his shoulder as he slowly pushes the door open. Pulling our guns out, we head in together as Vance and the rest of the people with us come down the driveway.

Blade points straight ahead to what looks like a kitchen, and I point left while Stone heads right. After checking the two bedrooms and bathroom over here, I head back out to the main area, slowly losing hope.

Stone comes back from the right with a shake of his head. Fuck.Where the fuck are they?

We go into the kitchen and find Blade standing at the back door with a grin on his face. I walk towards him and look outside to find a man sitting in a chair out back smoking. Before we can open the door to go out to him, he checks his phone and jumps up, starting for the back door. Blade and I duck down and move to the side.

As soon as he opens the door and steps in, Blade pounces, pressing a knife to his neck. He whispers, “Stay quiet now, sweetie, or you’ll ruin my fun.”

He doesn’t even try to scream or yell for anyone. He just tries pulling Blade’s hand away, which earns him a punch to the gut from Stone, who is standing in front of him.

“Where are the girls? Where is Ben?” I ask as I move to stand next to Stone in front of him.

“Downstairs.”

Blade tuts. “Wow, you’re an easy lay. I didn’t even have to do anything to get you to speak. That is kind of disappointing.”

Stone looks at me. “Did you find any stairs?” I shake my head as Stone looks back at the guy and Blade. With a raised brow, he says, “You get to play. We need to know how to get down there. It must be a hidden entrance. Everyone start fucking searching. Now!” His words are loud, shocking all of us. Stone speaks. It’s not like he never does, but he is usually on the quiet side of things and never takes control.

Blade cackles and kicks the back of the guy’s knees so he lands on the ground.

“Wait, wait!” he stutters. “It’s in the closet in the guest room. Move the art piece hanging up on the right of the door and press the button. The wall will open. They won’t hear you coming. The room they use down there is completely soundproof. I didn’t even want to be here. Please don’t hurt me.”

He spills everything. Blade sighs and pulls out his gun. Once Vance confirms that what he said is correct, Blade shoots him in the back of the head. “Fucking pussy.”

We all turn and head towards the closet where the access is. A few of Vance’s men and Rage stand there. “You and I first with Stone behind us and then Vance and his men. We don’t know what state the women are in.”

She has to be fine, I say silently as I head down the stairs with my gun out.

When we get to the lower level, there are two doors. One is closed, but the other one is cracked, and you can hear light talking.
