“Cameras are still on, beast.” Hannah reminded him. “But I’m gonna have fun doing a little dance for you.”

“The next time we see you on camera will be for your mating ceremony.” The two of them were so lost in each other, they weren’t listening to me, so the next part was for the audience. “The two of you deserve this. Not only because your episode was filled with trials and tribulations, but because you’re two of the most genuine beings I’ve ever met. You were willing to trust the process, even when it wasn’t working in your favor. I’m so glad to call both of you friends.”

And with that, we were done. I walked off the stage, expecting to see Calista waiting for me, but instead, I found Hugo.

“Where did Calista go?”

He grunted. “Tina is putting her through a quick application process. She made an executive decision that it was best to keep this formal and do it now, because we all have a feeling that her episode will come with its own set of surprises. We’ll need to be prepared for every scenario.”

Lars and Hannah had followed Marissa off stage, and Hannah was sitting in Lars’s lap. Still totally lost in each other. I hated to make them wait for me, but my relationship situation had gone from completely chill to molten lava in the span of a stage crash.

“You knew she was here,” I said.

“Today?” He nodded. “I was hoping to keep her off stage, but she is one determined wolf. She slipped past my guys. I’ll talk to them. It won’t happen again.”

“That’s not what I mean. You knew she was in Sunset Springs before this. She said security sent her away. You knew who she was. And those letters she sent! They were bloodstained. Why didn’t you say anything?” I couldn’t believe she’d been so close, and I was devastated that Hugo would keep something so significant to himself.

“Because I didn’t know who she was when she first arrived.” Hugo ran his hand over his head, a move he made any time he was nervous. “You have no idea how many people try to get close to you, Bibi. Being here, we’re in a bubble. But you’re a very public figure, and the most important part of my job is keeping you safe. So yes, I did send her away.”

“Did you just growl?” I asked. “Sweet moon, you see her as a threat to our relationship, don’t you?”

“I’m never sure where I stand with you, Bibi.” He stepped closer. All wolf. So hot. “You’ve kept me at arm’s length. This episode will bring up some feelings for you. I intend to make you mine, Bibi. I’ll do whatever it takes.”

“I’m looking forward to it.” I grabbed him by the lapels of his jacket. “Show me what you’ve got, wolf.”

Hannah

There were some moments in life I’d watched happen for other people that I never thought would be possible for me. Like stepping into a wedding dress. Or in this case, a mating ceremony dress.

“This dress is so you,” Zoe said as she laced me into the corset. She and Destiny had come back for the occasion.

I wished my actual family had taken the invite seriously, but I never got an answer. Which was fine, or at least, that’s what I told myself. My life was in Sunset Springs now, and there were plenty of people and creatures here that appreciated me just as I was.

Including the one that I was promising myself to forever.

Sweet moon, it would take everything I had not to run down the aisle and jump into Lars’s arms.

I had my hands against the wall, and my cleavage got more boobalicious each time she tugged. My dress was short and white at the top, fading into red in the full skirt that ended just above my knee.

“I love it so much. I think all our guests would’ve laughed their asses off if I came out in all white.” I did a spin, stopping to admire myself in the mirror because I’d never let myself fully imagine this day.

“Especially after they read your stories in the forums,” Zoe laughed. She and Destiny were wearing identical black lace dresses as my mating maids. “And it wouldn’t look right, anyway. This dress is perfect for you.”

Bibi came into the trailer and put her hand over her mouth. She was wearing a short purple sparkly dress. “Hannah, you’re a vision.”

“I couldn’t have done it without you.” I went over and gave her a hug. “Thank you for believing in me.”

“Your episode was more challenging than most, and you handled every setback and delay with grace and a charisma that made everyone on the crew fall in love with you. I’m so glad we got to spend this time together, and I can’t wait to come visit you once you get settled into your new home with Lars.”

“You mean, after you and Hugo come back from Vegas.” I wasn’t the only one who was going on a mate moon. Although Lars and I had elected to stay close to home. There weren’t a lot of places that could accommodate Bigfoot, but once I explained the tradition to him, he said he’d give me my very own mate moon inside our private mountain sanctuary. I couldn’t wait to be alone with him. No crew, no forums, just us.

“Well, we really should get to work right away on the next episode—”

“You’re going to Vegas,” we all said in unison. We couldn’t have done it better if we rehearsed it.

“And I’m looking forward to the getaway.” Bibi hooked her arm in mine. “But first, we have a mating ceremony to attend to, and I’ve seen the setup. You’ll love it.”
