“I’ll show you cocky,” I tease her, and she begs me to stop. “Guess I’ll just have to keep fucking you until you’re satisfied then, huh?”

“Yep. I suppose so.”

And the way she’s looking at me…I know she means it. And suddenly, I know that neither of us is going to be getting much rest tonight.

I loved watching her come. And I could do it over and over again and never tire of it. But the trouble is…friends aren’t supposed to do that.

Iwork tirelessly, developing the pictures I took this morning of the sunrise. It was an assignment, and knowing I had it, I had to get up even earlier to get my run in. I could have done it after class, but for some reason, starting the day off with a nice, hard sweat session makes the entire morning and afternoon go smoother.

A few weeks ago, I muddied the water with Brody by having sex with him. Not only that, but I also had my first orgasm. And since then, he’s pretty much made it his mission to give me one as often as possible. But of course, we make sure that we also do friendly activities as well. That way, the line isn’t so blurred that it becomes invisible altogether. But the sex…it’s hot. And I’m happy that I’m no longer an orgasm virgin. And, Lord, I had no idea what I was missing.

During sex, Brody becomes this entirely different person. A sex-crazed monster who takes charge, demanding me to do what he wants, when he wants. Speaking filthy words that put me over the edge.

And thinking back to the quick photo shoot last week, wow. That was hot. Now that we were more acquainted, I guess I’ll call it. The chemistry between us was undeniable. And I think Sebastian was quite pleased with the final product. Though I know we have another shoot with more colors coming up soon.

Now that I’ve met Tate and seen how Brody and she are together, it all makes sense—their friendship. For a while, I couldn’t help but wonder if there was any attraction between them. Now, I know that they are more like siblings.

I glance up at the clock.Shit, I’m running out of time.

Knowing class is almost over for the day, I’m actually bummed. This advanced photography class is one of the few I’ve ever enjoyed this much. Plus, I’ve made a friend in the class who is super sweet. Her name is Annie, and unlike some of the other bitches at Brooks University, she doesn’t look at every decent-looking female like a threat.

I didn’t exactly make myself the campus’s most loved chick when I started hanging out with Brody. He’s up there as one of the most wanted dudes on campus, and from day one of our friendship, he’s caused me some eye rolls. Girls are jealous creatures. Especially when it comes to men like him.

“Bria, can I have a word with you?” Professor Dow says from her desk.

“Ooh, someone’s in trouble,” Annie whispers, not looking up from her laptop.

“Am not.” I scowl. “I hope not anyway.”

Pushing my chair out, I stand and make my way to the front. “You wanted to see me?”

Pulling her glasses off, she shuts her laptop. “A few days ago, I received an interesting phone call.” She looks impressed, nodding slowly. “From the publicist of the hockey team.”

“What hockey team?” I frown.

“Uh…Brooks’shockey team.” She looks at me in disbelief. “What other one would I mean? The Bruins?”

“I mean, maybe.” I shrug. “It’s possible. I hear they are killing it.”

Brushing my comment off, she rolls her eyes the tiniest bit. “Anyway, apparently, they somehow saw some of the photos you had taken during a game you attended. No idea how or why they would have been in here, but…either way, they saw something they liked. Now, they want you to take pictures at some of the games.”

Finally, she cracks a smile. “I have to admit, this will be an amazing experience. Plus, I’d have to find out for sure, but I don’t see why this couldn’t count as your internship. With the workload you’ve taken, you’re likely going to be graduating with your master’s in the spring. This really couldn’t have come at a more perfect time.”

When I stare at her in skepticism, she raises her eyebrows. “This is good news. Go, you.”

“Thanks. I…well, I guess I never considered this form of photography as my future.” I give her a tight-lipped smile. “I’ll give it a whirl though.”

“Hey, you’ll never know if you don’t try.” She shrugs before going back to typing on her laptop.

I head back to my station. Knowing damn well there’s only one person who could have shown that publicist my photos.

And his name is Brody.

And he just might have given me my big break.
