K.

I decided to leave it at that, knowing she was probably trying to decide if meeting up with me was a good idea. It was a terrible idea so since she said “K” I was refusing to read or answer any more texts until Friday. I was not taking any chances that she would come to her senses and back out.

I was actually feeling good for the first time in weeks. Having something to look forward to did that for me. Leaning back on my arms, I crossed my feet and smiled as I stared at my ceiling. I could hear Rhys talking on his phone from the living room and knew he would be distracted the rest of the night. So, I grabbed my remote and started to do something I hadn't done in a while–watch TV. Something so simple and mundane, but something I never had the time or energy for.

I was seven minutes into a rerun of CSI: Miami when I heard my phone buzz with a text on the bed next to me. Rhys was still talking on his phone, the drama with Ty had died down, and my mom chose to call rather than text, so I figured that only left Charleigh.

She was going to change her mind and I didn’t want to know about it. I should have blocked her number so her texts wouldn’t tempt me. Sometimes ignorance was bliss and that was one of those times. I had ten or so minutes to think about doing something normal and sane with Charleigh and now I was going to have to go back to fighting her and fucking her.

Because doing nothing with her wasn’t an option.

Lifting my phone, I sighed and opened the screen to read the text. I sat up quickly, rage coursing my veins like it tended to do when I needed to hit something. On the bright side, it wasn't Charleigh turning me down.

It was Richard, and he had just three words for me.

Time’s up!

Chapter25

Charleigh

Levi was in the gym before everyone left. He had started working out as if he had always been a member of Bobby’s. No one talked to him, but a few leered his way as he punched the bags hard, making dust and powder puff into the air from each hit.

His shirt was off, his shorts were tight around his muscular thighs, and his headphones were in each ear. I leaned against the ring and watched as anyone who cared what I was doing was long gone. The others were leaving the gym slowly and it was only a matter of time before we were alone.

I spent way too much time trying to decide how I was going to approach him when the final person cleared out. Would I tap him angrily and start a fight? Would I jump in front of his bag and tempt him to hit me? Or did I take a softer approach, lacing my hands around his hips and molding my body to him until he succumbed to my hold?

The last option seemed too intimate, but then again, we had recently shifted something in our relationship that felt a lot like intimacy. He had plans for us that went beyond the ring and that felt as intimate as it could get. More so than anything we had done before.

When I saw that the gym was empty, I checked Bobby’s office to make sure he was gone as well and then I locked Levi and I in. I tossed the keys on the counter and made my way to where Levi had been working out for almost an hour. His endurance and continued strength impressed me. Most guys got tired quicker, but then again, Levi was muscular and cut without being overly so, therefore his muscles didn't tire out as quickly from the weight of them.

Rounding the corner of the ring, I stopped when I realized Levi had already stopped punching. He was pulling water from his bottle into his mouth, some falling down his body. His headphones were still in but he heard my approach because he glanced my way as I came to my stop.

I waited, unsure what I should do. He was a man I had spent a lot of time doing dirty things to but was still shy when it came to something more between us. We fought and fucked, and as I stood there getting more and more anxious, I wanted that dynamic back more than I wanted anything.

After tossing his bottle to the ground, he used his forearm to wipe away the excess running down his face and started stalking toward me. I didn’t want him to see how nervous I was, so I straightened my stance and crossed my arms.

“We alone?” He asked, gradually looking around.

“Yep,” I replied, like it was just circumstantial.

He threw his gloves off fast, not bothering to look where they had landed. He took two steps toward me and scooped me into his arms, making me wrap my legs around his waist. I didn’t want to, but the giggle that came out of me couldn’t be helped. It was like a switch had gone off in him and everything was finally okay.

“I thought we were going to fight,” I reminded him as he carried us into the men's locker room.

“We are, but not now, and not here.”

We walked straight into the showers and were immediately assaulted with cold water. At the same time, his mouth found mine and warmed me back up instantly.

While the water changed from cold to hot, we undressed one another, trying our hardest not to separate our lips while we did so. My legs wrapped back around him and he pushed me against the wall behind the water. We were already aligned, and he thrust himself up to find his home inside of my body.

“A week is too long, Charleigh. I am becoming addicted and need more.”

“Yes,” I hissed, agreeing with him.

My affirmation made him thrust harder, and I held onto his shoulders for dear life. His mouth had moved to my ear, and I could hear his deep grunts and groans as he fucked me. My pussy started pulsing and squeezing, coming like only Levi could make it do.

He followed behind me, kissing my neck and licking at the water that was splashing on me from the shower head. When he had finished emptying himself inside of me, he let me down gently and without saying anything else, he started bathing me. He even took a hand down and rubbed our cum from between my legs.
