BABY FOR THE OFF LIMITS BOSS DADDY (PREVIEW)

I never thought I'd break the bro code and HR rules in one fell swoop.

Rowan Headley tops the list of people I never wanted to see again.

She shattered my best friend's heart, turning him into a shell of his former self.

I hate her for what she did.

But guess who my company's new hire is?

Yep, the last person I expected - Rowan Headley.

It’s awkward, it’s tense, but we have to put up with each other.

Except the longer I’m around her, the less I feel like avoiding her.

Rowan is fire, sass, and brains all combined into one.

Before I know it, I give in…

One steamy night together changes everything.

OLIVER

“Man, we don’t belong here.”

I glance at Trevor, my best friend, and then scan the scene in front of me. A birthday party for my twin nephews, Trip and Danny, right at their mother’s bakery. The room is choke full of family and friends, although all of Trip and Danny’s “friends” are barely able to walk. The room smells like a combination of vanilla, baby powder, and like someone needs a diaper change. “Maybe you don’t, but I’m family.”

He grins his signature, wide grin, his eyes crinkling at the corners. “I’m family too.”

“Not by blood.”

Trevor rolls his eyes. “Whatever.”

We clink our beers together, a toast to nothing in particular. Being single. Not having kids, I guess.

Now that we’re over thirty, though, that doesn’t feel like something to toast to.

“Keifer and Dara spent way too much money on this party. The kids aren’t even going to remember it,” Trevor murmurs, gesturing toward the birthday boys who are matching in every single way, including DNA. The only way we can tell them apartare by their party hats that have their names monogrammed on them.

Keifer, my brother, and Dara, his fiancée, are tending to the boys, getting them ready for the cake to come out at any moment. “You know the party is more for them than the kids, right?” I say and then take a swig of my beer.

“Still. Could never be me.”

“Bet?”
