I bailed before Ford and I did anything like that. I can’t think of any woman more perfect for us than Bernadette.

With our girl sitting between us, we watch the second half of the concert. I honestly don’t know how we keep our clothes on.

The concert ends, but three excruciating encores later, the orchestra and the singers leave the stage.

“Do you have any more dicks to suck tonight?” Ford stands over me with his intimidating height and wolfish possessiveness.

His presence makes my stomach do flip-flops.

“Not exactly,” I say, licking my lips. “But I have to stay until everyone leaves.”

“Then we’re staying, too.” Bernie squeezes myhand. “Aren’t we, Ford?”

“Yes, sugar.” He leans in and kisses her on the mouth with such intensity, it takes my breath away.

I step back, realizing I missed the heat blossoming between them.

She throws her arms around him, but I’m caught up in this, too. I kiss her neck, while they make out.

Fuck, we have to get out of here. God knows who’s watching us.

In the lobby, I stand there holding Bernadette’s hand while Ford hovers. I get that if this goes the distance, I will have to be open about who I am and brace for the impact from my family’s wrath.

I’m glad I have one of the best lawyers on the East Coast in my bed. He’ll slap Dear Ole Dad with defamation and libel lawsuits.

I’m on autopilot with these thoughts as I shake hands and smile. Their donations are secured by the tickets they bought to get in here. No further hard-sell and double-dipping are needed tonight.

“Great show, Dr. Ives.” Dr. Sage, a top oncologist in the city, and a woman I went to medical school with, shakes my hand as her husband smiles at Bernie.

Ives. I hate my name sometimes, and the idea of giving it to a woman sickens me.

Montgomery. Ford will make us take his name, the alpha-fuck.

I retrieve my Defender, and I’m stuck driving while Ford pulls Bernie into the back seat with him.

In the mirror, I see she’s on his lap.

“Do not fuck her yet,” I warn, our eyes locked in the rearview.

“To prove I’m sorry to both of you, I’ll let you have her first tonight, Ash.”

They keep kissing, moans and the smell of arousal driving me crazy.

A rare spot opens in front of my townhouse, and while I hate to park such a pricey SUV on the street, I swing in.

“I’ll move it later.”

Ford and Bernadette get out of the Defender.

“After we’re done, I’ll move it for you.” Ford kisses me, reminding me, he’s my top.

He takes care of me.

But I want to take care of Bernie.

We get inside my house and things turn wild and electric. Coats go flying, and I pull Bernie down on top of me on my sofa.

“I love how this dress opens in the front.” I slip my fingers through each buttonhole and delight in pulling the fabric down off her pale shoulders.
