All I have to do is accompany him to fundraisers.

And he’s taking me shopping.

“Okay, gentlemen.” Ford stands up. “I’m taking Bernadette home. Emery, you’ll see her at your office on Monday. Ashton, let me know who you’re dressing her in, I’ll bring her to the salon.”

Salon...

Rich people don’t walk around stores to browse. They go to a salon, like Stella owns in L.A.

“She’s mine this month,” Ashton argues. “I’ll take her shopping and spoil her with gorgeous dresses.”

Ford and Ashton stare at each other, the tension thick. I’m guessing they fought over a woman before.

“Fine.” Ford steers me out of the bar, but Emery and Ashton follow.

I turn around sharply, and they jump back.

“I have a question.” I glance at each of them.

“Yeah?” Ashton strokes my arm.

“You’re sharing me. And I’m all yours this month. Both of you.”

“Absolutely.” Emery lays a wicked grin on me with carnal promises.

“But are you...mine?”

Ford narrows his eyes. “What do you mean, Bernadette?”

“Will either of you be dating anyone else?” I address Ashton and Emery.

“No,” Ashton answers right away, and Emery echoes him.

Smiling, I set my shoulders back. “Good.”

ANOTHER ESCALADE FORDordered from Uber Black waits for us outside.

With him hovering by the vehicle’s door, I hug Ashton then Emery, who takes it further and kisses me goodbye on the forehead.

Both men smell so good, and heat emits from their tall, thick bodies.

Ford leans on the rear passenger door watching us. He helps me inside when Ashton and Emery leave.

When we pull away from the club, I say, “I owe you a fifty-grand retainer?”

“Correct.” He takes out his phone. “I’ll contact the court and report that I’m representing Michael.”

That stiffens my spine. “He’s an idiot. I apologize in advance for what he’s going to put you through.”

“I can more than handle it.”

I take a shaky breath. “But any other attorney can tell him to go choke, walk away, and just lose the fee. I will lose so much more.”

“I’m not walking away. He needs me more thanyou need him. You can design more dresses. He doesn’t want to spend the rest of his life in prison.”

“I know.” I twist my hair with nervous hands. “This was crazy tonight, wasn’t it?”

“You needed money to pay me. I developed a work-around.”
