“Come in,” Levi calls out.
The door opens and Dr. Rowen comes back in, smiling.
“Congratulations. I heard you’re having twins.”
Levi nods as she looks down at the pictures again.
“Thank you.”
“Your due date is February 9th, however since you have twins, you’ll most likely go into labor early. I can never tell you how early. As your pregnancy progresses, we’ll monitor your babies closely to make sure everything is going according to plan. I’ve already written you a script for prenatal vitamins. I’d like to see you again in four weeks. Do you have any questions?”
“Can we still have sex? We won’t hurt the babies?” Dragon asks. Wildcat smacks his stomach as she huffs. Honestly, I was wondering the same thing. Dr. Rowen smiles, though he seems to be trying not to laugh.
“Yes, you can still have sex. Though, as Levi gets into the later stages of her pregnancy, make sure to choose positions that don’t put pressure on her belly. Also, laying on her back could put extra weight on her internal organs. As long as Levi’s comfortable, then you should be fine. Of course, if there’s any vaginal bleeding, then you need to call us so you can be seen right away. And that’s for any time you have vaginal bleeding—not just during sex.”
“Thank you, Dr. Rowen,” Levi says.
“Any other questions?”
When we shake our heads, he gets up.
“Well, then I’ll leave you to get dressed and will see you again in four weeks. Congratulations once again. One of the nurses will schedule your next appointment on your way out.” He shakes both Dragon’s and my hands, pats Levi on the knee, and then leaves.
Wildcat hops off the table and starts getting dressed again. Seeing her naked again has me instantly hard, and I groan as I adjust myself. There’s no way I’m taking her in a doctor’s office.
She quickly gets dressed, but then pauses as she’s lacing up her boots again.
“Shit. We’re going to need double everything. It’s a good thing you guys built a big house.”
“We built it that way hoping we’d be able to have a lot of kids, Spitfire.”
She pauses, her gaze bouncing between us.
“There are six bedrooms besides ours. You guys want six kids?” The last bit was barely a whisper, and I hope we haven’t freaked her out too badly.
“We’d love that many, but you’re the one that will have to carry them, Wildcat. How many kids do you want to have?”
“I’ve always wanted three or four. It was really lonely being an only kid. Not that I’m blaming my parents or anything. I know they tried to have more. It just didn’t work out that way. Though if we do have six kids, you realize we’re going to have to practically soundproof our room, right?”
Shit, she’s right. Levi’s definitely not quiet during sex, and I’ve honestly wondered if Sasha could hear her sometimes.
Once she slips on her cut, we leave the room.
On the way out, she schedules her next appointment, and I immediately put it in my phone calendar, sending the meeting to both of them.
The guys come over and start teasing her on our way out.
“So, is it just one or two buns in the oven? I’m betting two since your men are twins. Smoke here won’t tell us shit,” Ryder says.
“It’s not my news to tell, jackass,” Smoke says as he thumps Ryder up against the back of his head.
“Gah, you all are acting like children,” Levi mutters.
Travis throws his arm around her shoulder. “Yeah, but you know you love us and wouldn’t have us any other way,” he says, giving her puppy dog eyes. She smacks his stomach with the back of her hand.
“I should probably have my head examined cause, yeah, for some reason, I do. Alright. I need to get this prescription filled. Let’s walk over to the pharmacy, as that’s the one I usually use, and then head home. I need to make sure everything’s good for the party tonight.”
We all surround Levi and head outside. I listen with half an ear as I look around. I don’t like the idea of walking, but it’s not even two blocks down the street.
