I sit down beside Wildcat and can still tell she’s tense as hell. A moment later, Dragon sits down on the other side of her. Her eyes keep darting around and I’m starting to wonder if anything else happened while we were still in Church. Taking a sip of coffee, I turn to face her.

“We’d like to start by apologizing, Wildcat. We shouldn’t have tried to keep information from you. Especially since you are the main target of Fang’s threats.”

She frowns but says nothing.

“We won’t be able to tell you all the specifics though, because if we do get blowback from what we do, we don’t want you caught up in the crossfire, Spitfire. We can give you a general idea, but we also need to protect you.”

“You mean like plausible deniability?” she asks, and both Dragon and I chuckle.

“Yeah. You mean everything to us, Wildcat, and we don’t want to lose you. We’ve never been in this position before where we had to discuss how we handled club business. There will be times when you ask us something and we won’t be able to answer your questions. In those situations, please try to remember that we’re doing that because we’re trying to protect you. Not to control, restrain, or belittle you in any way.”

She sighs and nods, some of the tension in her body lessening. “Thank you. That means a lot that you both said all of that. As much as I’m still so mad at you guys, I love both of you. I’m pretty new to this relationship thing, too. Let’s all agree to work on our communication and if we have another argument, we either talk about it right away or after we cool off. You both mean everything to me too and I don’t want to lose you either.”

We both nod and the rest of the tension leaves her body. She gives me a quick kiss before turning and giving Dragon a kiss. We dig into our breakfasts and as we talk, I realize Drae’s sitting a few tables away from us. He’s texting someone on his phone but keeps looking up at us periodically. A chill goes down my spine when I realize it’s Levi that he’s watching. Looking over at Smoke, he’s working on his laptop while eating. Pulling out my phone, I quickly type up a message to him as I keep my phone hidden from Drae’s line of sight.

Thor: Can you pull up Drae’s phone records? He’s been texting someone all through breakfast and keeps looking up at Levi to watch what she’s doing.

Smoke: On it, Pres. Will have the info to you in a few minutes.

I give him a chin lift and go back to eating my breakfast.

“Spitfire, can we ask you a couple of things?”

“Sure, what’s up?”

“I saw Trixie slipping into the kitchen right as everyone was getting in line. Are the bunnies pulling their weight on the rotations?”

Levi pauses chewing and glances around before swallowing. Sighing, she pushes her now empty plate forward and grabs her coffee mug. Leaning forward, she rests her elbows on the table.

“I was wondering when this conversation would come up. I was waiting to say something until I had an alternative idea to tell you about and recently finalized a few of them.” She pauses and takes a deep breath before looking at both of us.

“I’ve been trying to figure out what I can have them do differently, and I have a few ideas. Trixie, Tiffany, Ashley, and Ginger can’t cook. We’ve tried having them measure out ingredients to help out that way, but they even mess up that. We then tried having them do a little prep work, like chopping fruits, veggies, or meat. They are extremely slow and I’m not sure if it’s on purpose or if they’re slow because it’s something new. Of course, throughout all these different jobs, they constantly complain and whine that we were ruining their manicures. Not to mention how much better they could please you sexually than me and all your favorite positions and things you both liked to do with them.”

My fork freezes midway to my mouth as I turn to look at her. She’s staring down at the table as she swallows thickly. Her eyes are misty, and she blinks repeatedly to keep them from falling.

“Those fucking bitches,” Dragon mutters as he ran a hand over his face. Levi chuckles weakly before smiling at him.

“I shut them up pretty quick each time, but it still hurts to hear all the things you’ve both done with them. I know that was all in the past, but it’s something I have to learn to deal with. Well, I should say Sasha and I have to learn to deal with,” she says quietly before taking another sip of coffee.

I hate that she feels that way, but I can’t take away the bunnies without a vote from all of my brothers. And I’m pretty sure they still want them around for their own releases. Wait a minute.

“They’re saying things to Sasha, too?”

She nods, and I feel the anger rising up in me.

“Does Sasha know that whatever they are saying about Colt isn’t true?”

Levi looks at me in shock and I’m guessing Colt never told that tidbit of information to Sasha. I’ll have to give him a heads-up later so he could ease some fears that Sasha may now be having.

“One of the rules for prospects is that they can’t have sex, either physical or oral, with the bunnies. Period.”

Her eyes widen and a moment later, her shoulders relax. “I don’t think Sasha knows that. The stuff they were saying that Colt did with them was pretty wild, and I know she’s got some reservations about their relationship as a result.”

“We’ll give Colt a heads up so that he can put to rest some of her worries.” Levi squeezes my hand and gave me a small smile.

“Thank you, Thor.”

“Back to the bunnies and cooking, Spitfire. We’ve always seen them when we come up to the food line. Are they sneaking in and trying to make it seem like they were helping?”
