“Yes, Lucy,” I said as I took a step closer to her. “I want us to be a family. I want someone to share my life with. This business can go to shit, for all I care. I want you, and our baby.”
Gently, I felt her hands move across my body as she moved toward me and hugged me tightly, “Does it mean you are going to sack me, too, if I go against your orders in the future?”
A smile tugged at my lips as I took a deep breath and turned to look at her face. “Does it mean you have agreed to come home with us?”
She sighed and touched my chest. “You still have to do a lot to convince my dad.”
“And you?”
“I have been doing a lot of thinking while I have been home,” She whispered while raising her head, “And, I would like to try to work this out. For us, for our baby, and for our family.”
“I love that you said for our family. I think that I am in love with you, Lucy Edwards. I hope to spend the rest of my life making sure to right all my wrongs. You make me want to be a better person.”
She giggled and brought her mouth closer for a kiss. “I think that I am falling for you too, Mason, and by God, I am going to hold you to your words.”
“I expect nothing less,” I replied as I brought her closer and deepened the kiss, hoping it conveyed to her just how much she meant to me.

THREE MONTHS LATER
The past few months have been nothing short of a fairytale, and today we are celebrating our wedding day.
Our love feels surreal, and I can't help but feel like I'm living a dream, even when we share kisses in public. People often refer to us as the Prince and Princess Charming of Merryville because of the strength of our bond. Mason's love knows no bounds, and he cares for me and our baby in every way possible.
Giggling with excitement, I scan the wedding hall, filled with our dear friends and family, all gathered here to celebrate our love. In Mason's arms, I feel complete, and I know he's the man I want to spend the rest of my life with. As he holds me close and kisses my forehead, I can't help but feel overwhelmed with happiness.
“Lucy, you look absolutely breathtaking,” Mason said as he looked deep into my eyes while we danced slowly to the music.
“Thank you, my handsome husband,” I said back to him, gazing into his eyes as if we were the only people in the room.
“Husband…I love how that flows naturally from your beautiful mouth my gorgeous wife,” Mason said as he leaned in and kissed me passionately.
Tears of joy well up in my eyes as I look at him, realizing how lucky I am to have him by my side.
“Crying already and we haven’t even left for our honeymoon,” Mason playfully teases me. His excitement is evident and the way he looks at me tells me that this is my forever.
“They are happy tears, my love,” I said lost in his eyes. “You are my forever, and I am so happy to be your wife.”
Mason smiles back at me with so much love that I feel as if my heart is about to explode.
At that exact moment, I felt our baby kick hard enough that Mason stepped back in surprise.
“Was that…was that our baby kicking?” Mason asked with his hand over his mouth.
As I nodded my head in agreement, he fell to his knees, placed his hands on my belly and kissed it. “Hello, little one,” he said excitedly to my belly. “I cannot wait to meet you.”
I placed my hands on the top of his head as he lovingly placed his hands on my belly and got lost in the moment.
He stands up keeping his hands on my belly and kisses me softly. “I want to have all of the babies with you?” He then smirked at me devilishly and said, “We can at least have fun practicing?” He gives me a little wink that makes me laugh.
I playfully responded, “Well, with our spacious home, we have the room. But for now, we should focus on the little one on the way. And I am sure we will have lots of practice.” I say lovingly back to him and shooting back a sexy little wink.
“God, I love you so fucking much, Lucy Blackwood,” Mason said passionately.
“I love you too, Mason Blackwood,” I said as I gazed back at my handsome husband. I can't help but feel grateful for the beautiful life we'll build together, with our precious baby – or perhaps even more babies – filling our home with love and joy.
