I can't help squirming, my body craving him whenever he touches me.

Dane's mouth ravishes my neck, prickling my skin—his hand slides between my legs. "Spread for me, Britt. I need you."

I widen my stance and lean over the sink, gasping when his fingers mercilessly tease.

Dane nips at my shoulder, his voice at my ear. "I want to feel you come while I take you from behind."

Moaning at his words, I lift my rear and press it against him.

Dane growls, and I can feel his cock at my entrance, his head teasing. He pushes inside me, then pulls back out, the motion slow and controlled. He does it again, my muscles tightening around his shaft.

"Fuck, Britt," Dane groans. "I planned to take my time, but you're going to make me come sooner than I wanted." He increases his pace until he's pounding me. His thrusts are hard and frantic—urgent even—as he drives his cock deep. Knowing I'm close, my body teetering on the edge, he reaches up and roughly pinches my nipples.

"Oh God," I whimper, my body losing control, a wave of pleasure taking me.

"That's it, baby. I can feel you. Damn, I'm coming, too." Dane groans, thrusting wildly. Then he stills and collapses against me.

He's gentle when he pulls out, leaving a kiss on my shoulder. Then I squeal when he picks me up in his arms.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm carrying you toour bed. I want to cuddle." Dane's careful when he lays me down. He snuggles beside me and pulls me into his arms. "Thank you," he murmurs against my ear.

"For what?"

"For giving me another chance."

"How could I not? You're so damn charming, not to mention super hot and deliciously wicked in bed."

"I'm glad to hear that because you're not getting rid of me. I'm here for good."

"And so am I."

Dane smiles as his arms tighten around me. "God, I love you. I think, deep down, I subconsciously knew it the morning I left your hotel room in Budapest. And I hate that it took losing you to admit it."

I sigh and kiss his neck. "I knew I loved you when I was sitting in the Munich airport. I was so miserable knowing that I didn't want to be without you and thinking you didn't care and were letting me go."

"I'll never be that stupid again."

"You better not because I'd have to hate you, and I don't think I can."

"Good. I wouldn't want you to. And now I have something to ask. I planned on waiting until next weekend, but I don't want to hold off any longer. Britt…will you marry me?"

"I…wow." My heart is pumping like crazy as I scan Dane's face. There's love and warmth in his eyes…and nervous anticipation. "Shit! I'm sorry. I'm not hesitating because I have doubts. I'm simply surprised. But yes! The answer is yes."

"Thank God. You had me terrified for a second. I wasn't sure how I would slink out of here if you said no. And since I'm jumping the gun, I don't have a ring. Rada and I planned to shop for one on Monday. So I'll do the next best thing." Dane removes the small ring he wears on his right pinky. It's an antique-looking gold band with three bezel-set white opals.

I watch in stunned silence as he slips it on my ring finger.

"This was my Bulgarian great-grandmother's wedding ring. I've worn it every day since my grandmother gave it to me. Well, every day except for when I was on the cruise. The ring means the world to me, just as you do. If it doesn't sound too hokey, I'd like you to have this as your engagement ring."

"Oh my God, this ring is so far from hokey. It's something to be treasured, like I treasure you. It's beautiful." I'm misty-eyed as I study the delicate ring.

Dane beams as he looks down at me. He leans forward, his lips almost brushing mine. "I must be the happiest man alive. Now, I want to love and care for you like you deserve."
