I stand up and tilt my head in the direction of the woods. “We’d better make every minute count then.”

After another meaningful look, I wander over to some of the other guests.

For a while, I make small talk and listen to stories.

When I glance back at the log and realize Danielle is gone, I make my excuses.

Then I wander through the trees and the smell of earth. I find her leaning against a tree, scanning the darkness.

Wordlessly, I cross over to her and hoist her up so her legs are around my waist.

Once I kiss her, the rest of the world disappears.

She tastes like marshmallows and strawberry lip-gloss, and I can’t get enough.

I’m addicted. And when I press her against the tree and my hand moves down the side of her body, the blood roars in my ears.

With a smirk, I lift her dress up, so it pools around her waist. She makes a low noise in the back of her throat that sends waves of desire through me.

Half of me is tempted to undress her and take her then and there.

The other-half of me wants to take my time, to continue to feel her hot breath on my cheek against my ears.

She is whispering my name now, a chant and a prayer falling from her lips. She tightens her legs and rubs herself against me, and the roar in my ears grows louder.

Molten-hot desire pumps through every inch of me.

I’m not afraid of how much I need her.

Or of how every inch of me yearns for her.

Her fingers dart underneath my shirt, and I shudder, goosebumps breaking out across my flesh.

She runs her fingers over skin, and it’s all I can do not to bury myself in her.

Instead, I pin her arms up over her head and wrench my lips away.

I’m pressing hot open-mouthed kisses down the side of her neck and over her jaw when laughter from the campfire rises through the air.

Danielle deflates, and her eyes are wide and full of hunger when she leans back to look at me. “We should head back over to the campfire.”

I kiss her again, with a passion and fervor that surprises me.

She’s unsteady on her feet when I set her back down.

I give her another kiss and tuck her hair behind her ears. “I’ll come and find you after the party. Leave your door unlocked.”

The looks she gives me goes straight to my soul.

I spend the rest of the night trying to steer clear of her.

Later that night, I find my way to Danielle's cabin. I dress as discretely as possible and make sure no one sees me.

I just can't afford for a guest to see me entering another guest's cabin this late at night.

It was my custom to show up randomly at guests’ cabins with complementary gifts during the day. I love doing that and seeing their reactions.

But creeping into a guest cabin late at night is a whole different story.
