He chuckled, but there was a mischievous twinkle in his eyes.

"Of course, business it is. Perhaps we could spend some time discussing other things.”

I blushed furiously without even knowing what he meant.

Chapter Ten

Alexander

There I was, standing amidst the chaotic construction site of a towering 30-story apartment complex, trying to explain the intricacies of the building to Elizabeth.

But every time I looked at her, all my thoughts scattered like debris in the wind. Elizabeth was a vision of beauty that couldn't be ignored.

As I rambled on about the structural details of the building, my eyes kept drifting toward her.

Her presence was magnetic, and it was almost impossible to concentrate on anything else. She had a certain grace that made everything around her fade into the background.

Elizabeth's long, blonde hair flowed like a waterfall down her back. Her striking features were framed by elegant gold hoop earrings that danced with every turn of her head.

But it’s her eyes that held me captive. Deep hazel pools seemed to carry the universe's secrets within them.

I struggled to find words, my mind racing to describe her beauty.

"This building," I stammered, "It's going to have the most amazing views of the city, just like your eyes, Elizabeth, they..."

She blushed.

"You're too kind, Alexander. But tell me more about the building. I'm genuinely interested."

I cleared my throat and tried to focus.

"Right, the building. It’ll have state-of-the-art amenities, a rooftop garden, and spacious apartments with floor-to-ceiling windows.

It's designed to provide residents with the ultimate urban living experience."

As I continued to talk, I couldn't help but admire her outfit. Elizabeth was dressed in a stylish attire that highlighted her sophistication.

She wore a tailored blue jacket that complemented her eyes perfectly. Beneath it, a pristine white shirt was tucked into a pair of impeccably fitting blue dress pants. Her outfit was a testament to her impeccable taste.

Elizabeth listened intently, nodding at all the right moments, her eyes never leaving mine. It’s as if she's genuinely interested in what I was saying, encouraging me to continue.

"The building will also have a fitness center, a spa, and a concierge service," I added, my voice growing more confidentwith every passing moment. "It's going to be a luxurious haven in the city's heart."

She smiled a smile that could rival the brightest of sunsets.

"It sounds amazing, Alexander."

I couldn't help but smile back.

"Well, when you're working on something that's going to change the city's skyline, it's hard not to be passionate."

My mind was still abuzz with thoughts of Elizabeth as I stood there amidst the construction site, a piece of the city's future rising around me.

But just as I was about to continue my conversation with her, I was interrupted by the arrival of my assistant, Amelia.

"Mr. Hartman," she called out, her voice cutting through the ambient noise of the construction site.

I saw her approaching, holding a crisp, cream-colored envelope.
