As we prepared to embark on this new chapter of our lives together, I couldn't have asked for a better support system than the one we had in Allan and the rest of our loved ones.

We entered Alexander's living room, and I immediately spotted Hilda. She was busy working on her tablet, her brow furrowed in concentration.

Hilda was working on plans for the engagement party. She was a master planner, and she quickly began brainstorming with us and sharing some of her ideas.

"We should make it a beautiful garden party," Hilda suggested, her eyes sparkling enthusiastically.

The idea enchanted me.

"That sounds perfect, Hilda."

Alexander nodded in agreement.

"I trust your judgment completely. Whatever you think is best."

As Hilda continued to sketch out her vision for the party, I couldn't help but feel grateful for her support.

Her excitement and creativity were contagious, and I knew she would help make our engagement party magical.

Once we had the broad strokes of the plan in place, Hilda excused herself to make some calls and start organizing the event.

Allan left with her, so Alexander and I were left alone in the living room, and the reality of the situation began to sink in.

"We have a lot to do," I told Alexander.

He took my hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze.

"We'll get through it together. We have a strong support system in our family and friends."

I smiled at him, feeling a surge of love and gratitude.

"You're right, Alexander. We're not in this alone."

Once I got back home, I remembered I needed to choose a dress. The engagement party would be here soon, and I wanted to be ready.

Two weeks Later

The dress I picked out was a masterpiece of exquisite craftsmanship that hugged my curves in all the right places.

Its deep, midnight blue color reminded me of a starry night, and the fabric felt like a second skin, soft and silky. The neckline was modest, but the back plunged daringly, revealing just enough skin to tease without giving too much away.

It was a statement piece, elegant and sensual, much like the man I was about to get engaged to…

As I slipped into the dress, I couldn't help but admire how it made me feel confident and alluring.

I added delicate silver jewelry to complement the dress and completed my look with high heels that accentuated my legs. With a final touch of makeup, I was ready.

I stood by the front door and adjusted my hair in the mirror. I got a text from Alexander. He told me that David, our driver, would pick me up shortly.

My heart raced with anticipation, and I couldn't wait to see Alexander.

Moments later, I heard a knock on my door.

I smoothed down the fabric of my dress, took a deep breath, and headed to answer it. David greeted me at the door and led me to the sleek black Rolls Royce parked by the curb.

David opened the car door for me, and I slid inside, ready to drive to Alexander’s house and the engagement party that awaited me there.
