Yes. It truly is.

I recall everything as if it had happened yesterday. Everything around me just stopped and disappeared from my awareness. I was floating amongst stars. And that immense sense of coming home… priceless.

“Can you experience this with more than one person?” I ask carefully.

A knowing smile graces Claudette’s face. “You mean as in Tiero and Aiden?”

“Yes,” I whisper.

“I’ve never encountered a Triple Flame, but that’s not to say it doesn’t exist. From what you told me, you had a profound soul connection with each of them.

“The connection between you and Aiden burns hot. When you’re in the same space, even the most ignorant person who’s not into anything spiritual would tell you that. It’s that obvious.

“But you don’t have to be physically together. Your energetic bond is indestructible. It’s why you’re still aware of Tiero, even though he’s nowhere near you.”

“Is that why I sometimes have conversations with him in my head? They’re not my imagination?” I ask, but it sounds too fantasy-like.

Claudette just nods.

Wow.

This is all rather mind blowing.

And then another memory resurfaces.

Holy crap!

“Drunken Gandalf’s riddle…Your soul is not in one but three. He sensed this long before I ever met Tiero and Aiden.”

Claudette nods. “Yes. When the heart paperweight fell and broke into three equal pieces, I sensed it too.”

“Why didn’t you say something?”

“It wasn’t the right time or place. Everything unfolds just as it should. It’s a lesson I learned in India.”

“You’ve been to India?” I ask, putting down the heavy buckets besides the RV.

“I lived there for a few years. After my split from Jasper, I could only tolerate being with my parents for so long. I ran away again, wanting to get as far away as possible. India seemed like the perfect destination. Best decision I’ve ever made, even though it was tough to start with. But my life turned around when I found Swami Sachinanda.”

The sound of falling cutlery from inside the motorhome draws our attention. Aiden appears in the door the next moment.

“You know Master Sachinanda?” he stammers.

Seems Aiden has heard of this guy too. Is he famous, and I’ve lived under a rock? Or has he been to India and met this Swami?

Claudette gives her full attention to Ade and answers him like she’s expecting just that. “Yes. I lived in his ashram for two years. How long were you there for?”

“Two years must be the magical number before he kicks you out,” Ade replies, a smile on his face.

“Or just enough time to find yourself again. What was his name for you?” Claudette asks.

My gaze wanders from one to the other. What are the odds of the two of them having lived in the same ashram? But there have been so many coincidences lately, I’m starting to doubt there’s such a thing.

“Black Swan,” Aiden replies. “On our very first meeting, he called me Black Swan.”

Claudette’s eyes find mine, and I know she remembers the dream I told her about on the cruise ship.

Black swans are a sign of good things to come… they mate for life.
