He walked over to her and kissed her. “I am that and I’m lucky you were greedy enough to agree to my baby deal.” He wrapped his arms around her waist, his hands resting on her ass.
“That’s true. I almost didn’t.” She leaned into him, wishing it was after work and they could talk and cuddle.
“I would’ve figured out something.” He kissed her gently. “I’d wanted you for too long to let you slip away.”

CHAPTER 66: Alison

“Oh.” He paused. “I think you should hear what I found.”

“Alison? Are you still there?”
“I’m not sure I want to know,” she whispered.
“I think you should.” His voice was calm. This was Dan, the one guy all women trusted.
