“Crew!” Nathan barks.
“What? You’re messing up my concentration, Boss!” I yell back, playing the part of the petulant child that I know makes Nathan nuts.
“Danielle,” Nathan says. “Make sure he unpacks!”
She laughs again. “I’ll do my best!” she calls back to him.
“You’re kidding right?” I hear Michael ask Nathan.
They must both be standing at the top of the stairs.
“He’ll tie her up, and stuff panties in her mouth if she tries to boss him around.”
Oh, I really like that idea. I look over at Dani. Her cheeks are pink. She likes the idea too.
“Damn it, he’s never going to unpack, is he?” Nathan asks.
Michael laughs. “No. You just need to close the door to his room and ignore it. Come on, we’re going to be late.”
I listen to their footsteps across the first floor, then the sound of the door opening and shutting.
I look over at Dani. “You wanna try to boss me around, Dani girl?” I ask, setting my game controller on the table between our recliners.
She lifts her shoulder and gives me a cute, sexy as fuck look. “Maybe.”
“Try it,” I say.
“Crew, you need to go upstairs right now and unpack your boxes,” she says. With zero force behind her words.
“Michael unpacked more than half ofyourboxes,” I point out. “You shouldn’t get to tell me what to do.”
“Nathan wants me to make you do it.”
“And you always do everything Nathan tells you to.”
The pink in her cheeks gets darker. Because she does, actually, do everything Nathan tells her to. Because she loves when he calls her a good girl and rewards her. He’s very good with the rewards.
“Nathan is very…persuasive,” she says.
Uh, huh. I’ve witnessed Nathan’s type of persuasion. “Okay.” I get to my feet. “Tell you what. You be persuasive with me. I bet we can get a few things unboxed.”
She looks at the TV screen, then up at me. “We’re done playing?”
I hold out my hand to her. “Oh, no, pretty girl. We’re just getting started.”
She grins and puts her game controller down. “This is going to work out really well for me.” She takes my hand and I pull her out of the chair.
“How so?”
“I’m going to get you now and then when Nathan and Michael get home, they’ll be so pleased with all the work I got you to do that they’ll beveryhappy with me.”
I reach up and cup her face. “You’re fucking perfect, you know that?”
I would have never imagined falling for a woman who wanted two other men at the same time, but now I can’t imagine being with anyone else in any other situation.
She beams. She absolutely soaks up our praise like a little flower in the sun.
“I love you so damned much,” I tell her.
