“Naturally.”She was sliding the pants over his narrow hips.

He stepped out of itand stood in front of her.

“You’restill dressed.”

“I am. Get onthe bed.”

He turned and walkedover to it, trying to pretend that he wasn’t scared.

His hands clenchedinto fists as he watched her tug off the simple dress she’dbeen wearing, revealing the fact she was wearing a tiny champagnelace thong. His eyes drifted from the panties to her stomach wherehis baby was nestled to drift up to the surprisingly generousbreasts.

Moving forward, herhips swaying seductively, she climbed in next to him.

“Hi.”

“Hi.” Hehad to swallow the lump inside his throat. “You look great.”

“Thanks.”She laughed breathlessly as she placed her hand on his chest. “Youdon’t look too bad yourself.”

“Thanks.”He put his hand over hers. “I don’t think I‘mimpotent.”

She gave him astartled look.

“I don’tthink you are.”

“That’s arelief. I suppose we should kiss.”

“I suppose weshould.”

Leaning over, shebrushed her lips against his lightly. His heart slammed heavily intohis chest as her lips touched his. Moving one hand, he touched theback of her head as he sank into the kiss. His body burgeoned in suchalarming manner that he was afraid he was going to disgrace himselfby spilling too soon.

“Wait-“Dragging his lips from hers, he fought to control himself, eyes glazed as they roved hotly over her face.

“Give me aminute.” He tried without success to smooth out his breathing. His fingers were still tangled in her hair, her body half on his. “Idon’t want to hurt you.” He gritted.

“You won’t.”Her hands lifted to frame his face. “I promise you.”

He nodded, handdrifting from her hair to touch her throat.

She held herbreath when he trailed a finger along her skin.

“It would killme to hurt you.”

“You won’t.”She repeated.

His finger slippedinto the hollow of her throat and stayed there for a spell beforemoving downward.

“I can dothis.” Pushing at her gently, he reversed their positions. Hisbreath caught in his throat as he stared at her parted lips. “Ican.” Bending his head, he kissed her slowly, just pressing hislips against hers and familiarizing himself with the shape andtexture of her.

She put her handsaround his neck, pressing him against her. He didn’t want tohurry things. He wanted to take his time and let nature to take itscourse. He was used to violence, to the roughness of slamming into awoman until her head was banging against the head board.

That was what Ameliahad introduced him to. He didn’t want to be that person again. One hand drifted up to cup her cheek as he continued to press hislips against hers. Her lips parted slowly and she had to concentratenot to be all over him. His tongue entered her mouth as if in slowmotion and his tongue touched hers tentatively.

His breath mingledwith hers, the kiss taking on a sweetness that had heat flooding herentire body. Her arms came around his neck, tangling with the hair atthe nape of his neck.

She was unconsciouslyforcing him to deepen the kiss, but he wasn’t budging. The firewas building inside his body, spreading from his chest to his groinand making him as hard as a rock.

She tasted sweet, reminding him of honey and her body pressed against his was makinghim mad with desire. Ending the kiss, he leaned away from her, hishead drifting back as he fought for control.
