“Don’tmove.” He ordered thickly as she sheathed him completely, hermoistness sending darts of fire plunging through his body. His handsdrifted to her hips, trailing up her ribs, before cupping herbreasts. “You witch.” He whispered, drawing her down sohe could taste her nipples. “Were you trying to kill me?”

“Just payingyou back for taking care of me. You’re welcome.”

He grinned, justbefore he tugged a nipple into his mouth. Her body erupted then, arching as the maelstrom of feelings clashed and quivered throughher.

By the time he wasthrough with both nipples, she was quivering on top of him and thatwas before he started moving into her.

She came again, thevicious climax had her collapsing on top of him as he came insideher. They were both coated with sweat, making their bodies slick andslippery.

“If there’sany fever left, it’s gone now.” He teased in a hoarsevoice.

“Absolutely. Ifigured that was the way to get rid of it once and for all.”She whispered into his throat.

His hands roamed downher back and up to her neck. “How are you?”

“Ask me when Ican feel my feet.”

“I can’tfeel mine either.”

“I'm suddenlystarving.”

His deep chuckletickled her cheek and made her smile.

“There’sstill the food I brought with me.”

“What wasit?”

“Japanese.”

“Soundsyummy.”

“I’llgo and get it.”

“Not yet.”She murmured.

“I can't movejust yet anyway. It’s going to take me a few minutes.”

“No hurry.”

They ate in bed. Shewas sitting up against the pillows when he walked in with a tray andanother cup of tea. She couldn’t believe it was possible tolove him even more than she already did.

She was still warywhere his feelings for her were concerned. He’d declared hislove for her in a simple way, but he hadn’t asked her to marryhim and she wanted that too.

She wanted thesecurity of becoming his wife. It haunted her to think he’dproposed to that homicidal bitch and offered the woman something hewasn’t offering her.

“This is verygood.” She gestured to the bowl with her chopsticks. “What’sit called?”

“Donburi.”He selected a sliver of beef and popped it into his mouth. “Iwasn’t sure about your stomach.” He gave her a worriedfrown. “How’s it holding up?”

“I think thespiciness of the meal is fooling the nausea. I feel great.”

“Drink sometea.” He nudged the steaming cup towards her.

“Stop being sodamn bossy.” She grumbled, reaching for the cup.

“I wasn’taround for a week, I’m trying to make up for it.” Hegrinned at her.
