Wyatt grinned quizzically at me as I finally took my place by his side.

“What?” I whispered. “What’s wrong?”

“There is a lot going on in that head of yours,” Wyatt whispered back. “If you’re about to reject me, can I at least get a heads-up?”

Before I could retort, he kissed me. When he pulled back, I rolled my eyes at him. “Not a chance, big guy. We’re too far gone to turn back. You’re stuck with me, whether you like it or not.”

“Kira Durst, that may be the most romantic thing you’ve ever said to me. It’s a good thing I’m happy to be stuck with you.”

The ceremony began. Vows were said, hands held, and the sound of my mother sniffling in the crowd made me smile. We exchanged kisses on our necks, our lips lingering on the claiming bite scars, marks that bound Wyatt and me together forever.

After that, we kissed each other again. All around us, cheers and whistles and shouts of joy erupted. It was hard to believethat the man I’d tried to make my worst enemy had ended up being the best thing to ever happen to me.

We still teased and poked one another, though those moments usually ended with us tumbling into bed together. Our relationship was playful and perfect. Most important of all, we had each other’s backs. Forever and always.

While our friends and family cheered us on, I pulled my lips from Wyatt’s and whispered into his ear, “You know you’re my favorite former nemesis, right?”

“Good,” Wyatt whispered back. “I was worried I was in second or third place. You’ll always be my favorite annoying little brat.”

I grinned at him. “I love you, too.”

We kissed again, and the sounds of love and friendship echoed through the forest, up to the sky where the stars glittered and shone down upon us.

Family, friends, and love. What more was there?

I’ve already got enough problems without adding ‘kidnapped’ to my list. But that's exactly what happens when we’re attacked and I’m taken captive by the alpha of the enemy pack.

I should hate Night, but he’s nicer to me than Troy ever was, not to mention a hell of a lot sexier. I know our attraction is dangerous, but our connection sparks something in me I never expected, revealing there’s much more to me than my human side.

When Troy hunts me down, it can only mean one thing—war. Now I must make an impossible decision between following my heart or remaining loyal to the pack that raised me...
