Jade: Okay, see you down there later.
It doesn’t take me long to get ready. I’m wearing a skirt with fishnet stockings and a black tank top. I have my hair in pigtails and my face painted like Harley Quinn. Unfortunately, I can’t walk around with a bat or gun, so I take my phone and slide my white air forces on. I check myself in the mirror and place the collar around my neck. I love the cold leather against my skin; I run my fingers across the red diamonds. “Ours.” Now the look is complete. Walking out of my room, I stop.
“Damn, Kay, you look fine as fuck, Jesus,” she blushes; she’s in a full bodysuit-that hugs her curves perfectly. She makes a hot fucking cat woman.
“Thanks, your brothers told me to change that. I can’t go out looking like this,” she laughs, and I follow because fuck my brothers. They are idiots.
“Welp, that’s just too damn bad for them!” I smack her ass.
“You ready to get this over with?” She nods, grabs her phone, and heads towards the door. We take the elevator down to the cafeteria. That’s where this shit show is being held. Kayla drags me into the cafeteria. It’s decorated with spider webs and pumpkins. It looks pretty cool for what it is. Kayla hands me a vial. I raise my brow at her, and she smirks.
“Shoot it, it’s tequila; it will take the edge off being here.” I nod, raising it to my lips and downing it.
“Now let’s go dance,” she yells, dragging me to the dance floor. I look around to see if I can spot the guys, but I haven’t seen them yet. A few people come over to talk to us and wish me a happy birthday. We dance for a bit, still not seeing the guys. But Kayla hands me another vial, and I shoot it back, feeling the burn in my throat.
The music changes to a slower, sensual beat. Kayla grabs me, and we grind together to the rhythm. It’s so nice to see my girl smiling again. My brothers are good for her. As long as they keep her happy, they have my blessing, but if they fuck her over, I will fuck their shit up. We still haven’t spoken in depth about what happened to her. I know when she’s ready, we will talk, but I’ll leave her be for now.
Kayla starts laughing as strong arms wrap around me. I turn my head and see the Joker smiling at me. “Keep shaking that ass out here, and I might have to kill everyone looking at you, Kitten.” I shake my head, laughing, and lean into him. We moved to the music for a few songs before he leads me off the dance floor. Kayla went off with Marco to do a quick deal. He brings me to the corner table, and I see two other jokers. This has Kayla written all over it.
“Kayla?” I ask, raising a brow. They look so dope in purple suits with green ties. They even dyed their hair green. I wonder who did their face paint?
“Yes, Babygirl and Ophelia stopped by to do our faces.” He wiggles his brows.
“You guys look amazing, except for you, Jamie, ya look miserable.” He grunts, shaking his head. Spade gets up from his chair, grabbing me by the throat.
“I’ve watched you out there, shaking your ass on Ri, and I’ve been dying to smear that lipstick.” He licks his lips.
“Smear it, puddin’.” He laughs, then smears my lipstick in a tantalizing kiss.
“Don’t hog her, Reid.” Rio snatches me to him, kissing me senseless.Jesus Christ, I’m going to be so dizzy all the time with these two throwing me around like a rag doll.

“I might like that.” I wink as he slides his hand up my skirt to find I’m not wearing any panties.

I stand up and tell them I’m going to run to the ladies’ room to freshen up, and I’ll be right back. Heading for the bathroom, I’m smiling for the first time in a long time. I’m so in love with Rio and Spade. I love Jamie, too, but we’re not there yet. We have a lot to work on. There’s still so much crap going on outside of the academy that it’s nice tonight to get a break from the bullshit and enjoy one another. My phone pings, and I stop before exiting the bathroom. I opened the message; it is from Unknown.Here we go again.
Unknown: Multimedia Video Tap to open.
I open it and press play. I’m rooted to the spot I’m standing in while I watch the video. Three young boys staring up at four women strung to hooks in the air. I noticed one of them.No, no, no,tears flow down my face. This can’t be happening. My phone pings again with another message from unknown.
