"Hi," I whisper to Theo once Kris is gone, holding onto the boards so I don't fall again. "You can't be mad at me. I never agreed to your no skating rule. And I didn't hurt anyone."

"I wasn't worried about you hurting anyone, little one," he murmurs, holding out his hand to me. "I was worried about one of them hurting you. You're a lot smaller than us."

"Oh. Well, they didn't hurt me. They even gave me pads," I say, taking his hand so he can pull me into the box across the ice from where I was sitting with Laney. "I'm not very good at this game, Theo. I couldn't even find the puck to hit it."

"Shoot it," he says.

"Yeah, I couldn't do that either. I don't know how you guys do this every day. It's way more work than it looks like." They make flying across the ice look simple but it isn't. It takes a lot of skill to play this game. Skill I am definitely lacking. I had fun trying to learn though.

"I missed you," he murmurs, pulling me into his arms. His lips seek mine out, brushing across them in lazy passes. "Did you have fun?"

"Yes."

"Were they nice to you?"

"Mmhmm," I hum against his lips, snuggling up against him. It's hard to do with the pads on, but we make it work. I probably look ridiculous. "They were really nice. Even the reporter was nice."

"Reporter?" He pulls back to look at me. "What reporter?"

"Jamie."

"Fuck," he growls, his arms tightening around me like he can protect me from her even though she's long gone. I love that about him. That he cares enough to want to protect me from reporters and my landlord and everyone else.

"She didn't ask me any questions," I promise him. "She just said hi, and then she and Jonas left."

"Good," Theo grunts.

"I would have answered her questions if she asked them."

He blinks at me.

"I don't care if the whole world knows about us, Theo," I whisper, my heart thudding against my ribcage. "Iwantthem to know that I'm yours."

"You mean that."

I nod, holding his gaze, letting him see how much I mean it. "Theo, I l–"

"Not here," he growls, cutting me off before I can tell him I love him. "I want to be inside you when you say it, baby doll. I need to be inside you."

"Then take me home, crazy man," I demand, a little breathless at the thought of having him inside me again. I think I'm in danger of becoming a sex addict. We did it like four times last night, and I still want to do it again now.

"Are you sore?" he asks.

"No." I scrunch up my nose. "Define sore because I've been falling a lot, Theo. And I'm not very good at that either."

"Poor little fairy," he croons, nibbling at my lips. "I'll take real good care of you when I get you home. You'll forget all about falling when I have you screaming my name."

"Theo," I groan, both because that sounds like heaven and because we're in public. Sort of public. Whatever. There are people around who don't need to know sex things about me.

Theo kisses me until I forget my own name, and then scoops me up in his arms. I squeal in shock when he tosses me over his shoulder like I'm a sack of potatoes. My hair flips into my face, blinding me.

His teammates whoop and holler and catcall, egging him on.

"Put me down right now!" I shout, trying to squirm out of his hold.

He just laughs and smacks me on the butt.

He is so paying for this later. After he takes me home and gives me orgasms. Obviously.
