"Maybe."

"Cool."

"Theo?"

"Yeah?"

"Fuck off."

"Right." Theo laughs, clearly not offended. "See ya. Nice to meet you, Laney."

"You too," I whisper, still reeling.

Theo takes off.

"Sorry," Weston mumbles, tipping his head forward to rest his forehead against mine. "He's always lurking around here somewhere."

"It's fine. Um, can we talk about the thing?"

"The thing in my pants?" he says with a tortured groan. "Baby, we can talk about it all you want, but if we do, I'm going to take it out. And if I do that, I'm pretty sure we're both going to jail in about two minutes when that busload of kids walks through the doors."

"Not…" I trail off and then laugh. "Jesus. I didn't mean that. I meant the thing you said."

"About meeting the team? I want you to meet them, but only when you're ready."

"No. The other thing?"

"About Theo always lurking around here somewhere? He doesn't like his house."

"No, the…" I trail off again and blink. "Why doesn't he like his house?"

"He has a thing for the maid or some shit. I don't know."

"Oh. I meant the other thing. The future wife thing."

"You heard that."

"Um, yeah."

"If we talk about it, are you going to say yes?" he asks, pulling back to look at me again. I don't know what he sees on my face, but he chuckles and leans forward to kiss me on the forehead. "Then no. We're not talking about it until you're ready to say yes."

"Okay," I whisper. What else am I supposed to say to the crazy man?

His plan makes sense to me. Though, if we're being completely honesty, I'm pretty sure I would say yes if he asked. I'm fallingfor him, fast. It's completely terrifying and amazing at the same time.

"You still averse to going home with me?" he asks. "And before you say no, I'm not trying to get in your pants. I just really want to keep you all to myself for a little while."

"Oh, so you don't want in my pants?"

"Fuck yeah, I do," he says without hesitation. "I'm dying to make you come all over me. But I'm willing to wait until you're ready to let me in them." He gives me a sweet smile. "I just discovered that I'm possessive as hell about you. I don't want to share you with anyone, and there are too many people here. Male people."

"Weston?"

"Yeah?"

"Stop talking and take me home."
