"Never. Open it, cutie pie."

She takes her sweet time peeling the wrapping paper off the box before setting it aside. When she sees the blue box, she shakes her head at me again.

I shrug, unrepentant.

She flips the lid open.

"Wes," she whispers, staring at the necklace tucked carefully inside. It's a beautiful cluster of silver hearts, shaped like flowers. Two petals of each are crusted in small diamonds, with larger ones sprinkled throughout the cluster. There's one colored gemstone for each of our kids, and two larger stones to represent us.

"This one is you," I murmur, pointing at the large sapphire. "This one is me." I point out the ruby. "And these are the kids." I name each kid as I point to their birthstone in the necklace.

"What about this one?" she asks, pointing at the smaller sapphire.

"That one is for our little girl," I murmur, placing my hand on her belly. "I couldn't leave her out."

"Weston James Davies," she says, staring at me in shock. "You knew? How did you know? I didn't even know until today!"

"I know everything about you, angel. When you're happy, when you're sad, when you're about to give me hell for something. And definitely when you're carrying one of my babies," I murmur, chuckling as her face falls into an adorable pout. "It's my job to know you. Besides, I told you I was getting you pregnant for Valentine's Day."

She huffs at me, but I can tell by the soft look in her eyes that she's not mad. She's just giving me shit because she can. Her eyes drift back to the necklace. She strokes a finger over it. "It's so beautiful, Weston," she whispers. "I love it so much."

"Yeah?"

She nods. "Will you put it on me?"

"If I put it on you now, I'm just going to be taking it off of you in half an hour."

"Why?"

"Because I haven't fucked you in the hot tub yet. And we both know you're not going to want to wear your new necklace in the hot tub, angel."

"You're right," she says, and then laughs. "Put it on me anyway. I'll be something pretty for you to look at until you're ready to go to the hot tub."

I shake my head, taking the necklace from her. "The only pretty thing in this room I'm going to be looking at is you, angel. You're the only thing I'm ever looking at when you're close." I sweep her hair to the side and help put the necklace on her, though. Once it's in place, I press a kiss to the side of her neck.

She melts in my arms, glowing bright as the sun. "I love you. And my new necklace. And Valentine's Day."

"I love you too, angel," I whisper, sliding my hand around her jaw to turn her toward me. "I've never loved you more than I do right now."

"That's because I'm naked, pregnant, and I just gave you an orgasm."

"No. It's because you're you."

"Wes," she whispers.

Our lips meet, and I love her a little more.
