I shrug. “I’ll decide once he comes out of hiding. For now he’s too big of a coward to face me head on.”

“Or...” She bites her lip. “He's planning something.”

“Whichever option it is, we’ll face it head on. You and I,Fata.”

“Together.” She smiles.

“Forever.”

My phone buzzes in my pocket again.

“You better take it.” Alessa leans back as I decide to ignore my phone and kiss her instead.

With a roll of my eyes, I pull the phone out and mouth, “To be continued,” at her before answering.

She wriggles in my lap then pulls her top off. Fuuuck. She’s not wearing a bra, her tits bouncing freely as she moves off my lap and plays with the waistband of my sweatpants.

“You have three seconds,” I growl into my phone as I watch my fiancée play with her nipples.

I shake my head in awe, a smile spreading across my face. I cannot believe how fucking lucky I got. Without even bothering to listen to the person on the end of the line I toss my phone aside, not caring if they are still able to hear or not. “Come here, baby,” I say, my voice as thick as my cock. “Let me take care of my future wife.”

EPILOGUE

ANGELO

“He hung up,” Luca chuckles. “Well, I’m hanging up, to be exact, but it’s best for all the parties involved.”

“For fuck’s sake,” I growl.

“I guess it’s up to you guys to check it out,” Arrow’s voice is way too cheery on the other end of the line.

Fuck. Fine.I kickastone across the pavement and watch it roll away, disappearing off the pier and into the ocean. Once again, I’m fucking left to deal with shit alone. I get my brother is in love, but come on! With Nicolosi in hiding, we really should be making a plan on how to get rid of him or at least on how to smoke him out.

I sigh. “Okay, tell me exactly what you found again.” Luca steps beside me, giving me a goofy grin, and I have to squelch the urge to roll my eyes at him. I swear mum must have dropped him as a baby.

“I was only following Alessa’s trail,” I try not to growl at the name. I don’t hate her, but I do resent the amount of attention she’s getting from Dante, “and it seems like Nicolosi smuggled something he shouldn’t have last week.” The numbers are all out of whack.

“This would have been—”

“The same night he took Alessa, yes. I guess whatever he had delivered must not have been important enough to risk coming back for it after shit went down.”

“He’s a scared kitty cat in a pinstriped suit.” I shrug, making my way to where empty containers are stored. “Stay on the line.”

Arrow grumbles on the other side but doesn’t disconnect the ten minutes it takes us to get to the fenced area.

“Do you have the number?”

They rattle off a string of letters and numbers, I repeat them to Luca as he opens the gate, and we walk in. Most of the sea-weathered containers in here should be empty, but there’s still enough of them that it takes thirty minutes for me to spot the right one. Probably because two minutes into the search, the fog rolled in, clouding my vision and making it impossible to see anything farther than a few yards away.

Luca cuts the chain locking the door as I tap my foot impatiently, my suit getting soaked by the drizzle which just started. I fucking hate Blackwood’s weather.

With a grunt, I yank the door open and look inside the dark container. Instantly, a rancid smell envelopes me, and I have to fight the coffee I had this morning, threatening to come back up.

“What did you find?” Arrow asks.

I cover my nose with the sleeve of my jacket and take a step inside.
