"Little one," he growls, his hands like vises around my waist.

I bite my lip to keep from laughing.

"Hmm?"

"Tell me what this moment entails," he orders me, all hot and bossy and completely perfect.

"Oh, nothing major," I tease, rolling my hips until his erection grinds against my clit. I fall forward against his chest, putting my mouth right up against his ear. "Just me asking you to marry me before you make love to me in the bathtub."

He growls my name.

I squeal, clinging to him as he stands in one fluid movement. Water sluices off us in a flood, soaking the floor around the tub. He steps out with me in his arms, without even missing a beat. He doesn't even stop to dry us off. He storms through the bathroom with me and then into the bedroom, tackling me onto the bed beneath him.

I squeal again, squirming as he pins me beneath him. Once he has me where he wants me, he reaches over my head, grabbing something out of his nightstand.

"Say it," he growls.

"But I wanted to ask in the bathtub," I tease.

"Say it, little one," he grits out.

"Fine!" I cry, giving in. "Andreas Christopher Romano, will you please marry me?"

"No."

I blink at him, shocked.

"That's not how this goes, rabbit," he says, his eyes soft. So damn soft I get lost in them. "You don't ask me to marry you. You don't ask me for anything. You tell me what you need, and I give it to you. That's how this thing between us works."

"Andreas," I whisper. He's so crazy. I love it so much.

"I'm the one who asks you, rabbit," he whispers, rubbing his nose along the side of mine. "I beg if that's what it takes to get you agree to become my wife. Marry me, little one. Make me the happiest goddamn man on this planet and tell me I can love you forever. Please."

"That's not a question."

He hitches my leg up over his hip with a soft growl, slipping inside me with one deep thrust. We both moan, clinging to one another. God, he feels so good. So damn good.

"Marry me, Catriona," he growls in my ear.

"Andreas."

"Marry me."

He nips my throat and then kisses my lips, making love to me so slowly I feel every ridge of his cock, feel every blissful drag against my inner walls. "Please, little one. I need you," he groans, writhing on top of me. "I'll always need you."

"Yes," I sob, unable to tease him any longer. "Yes, I'll marry you."

He falls still above me and then groans my name, shuddering.

"Andreas," I gasp when he slips a ring on my finger.

"You said you had to have a ring to marry me," he murmurs, bringing my hand up to his lips to kiss the solitaire princess cut diamond. The pride and devotion in his eyes sear me all the way to my bones and send me flying. With him, I'm always flying. And I never, ever want to come down.

I sob his name, this perfect, beautiful moment topping every single one that came before.
