I run my lips across her forehead, as in love with her now as ever. She's my heart and soul. She always will be. "What did you think I'd never know?"

"That you're going to be a daddy again."

I tip her backwards onto the bed so fast she screams in shock, clutching for my shirt.

"Say that again," I growl.

"You're going to be a daddy again." More tears pour down her cheeks, but she smiles through them this time. "You got me pregnant for my birthday, Andreas."

"Jesus." I stare down at her, awed and humbled. And then guilt kicks in. I press my palm to her belly, cupping it protectively. "Is the baby okay? Are you okay? I'm an asshole for putting you through this."

"We're fine," she whispers, placing her hand against my cheek. "So long as you're okay, we're okay."

"I'll stop riding."

She blinks at me and then rapidly shakes her head. "No."

"Rabbit."

"Absolutely not, Andreas. You ride because it's part of who you are. Don't you dare think about giving that up because I worry about you," she growls, wiggling beneath me to sit up, but I gently pin her down, not ready to let her up to kick my ass yet.

"I fucking hate making you worry."

"I love you!" she cries. "Of course I worry about you. Whether you're on your bike or in your SUV or at your office, I worry about you. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me. I'm always going to worry about you."

"Fuck," I growl, leaning down to claim her mouth in a scorching kiss. I lock my fingers with hers, crawling over her on the bed to deepen the kiss. I pour everything into it, down to my soul. "I love you, rabbit."

"Good," she whispers. "Because you're not allowed to go anywhere for the next eighty or ninety years."

"Yeah?" I kiss a trail down her throat, nipping at her collarbone. "What if I want to take a ride to heaven, Catriona? You gonna stop me?"

"No," she moans as my teeth close over the hard bud of her nipple. "God, no, Andreas. Just take me with you."

"Always, rabbit," I vow, tugging her shirt up her delectable body. "Always."

Devin Arakas is the sweetest little treat I've ever seen.

I look at her and ache to be her daddy.

But I'm a lawyer, and she's off-limits.

Until I find out why she's hiding in my bed.

No one is taking her against her will.

Not her brother. Not her uncle. No one.
