“He used his fingers, and then…” I consider whether to mention what Matt said about Seb, but decide against it. It’s a conversation I want to have with my brother first. “He tried to rape me.”

“What made him stop?”

“Well, I started to slap him, but I couldn’t get him off me—I was still so weak. Then when he tried to enter me, I…”.

“You…,” Trey murmurs.

I look between them, my cheeks flaming. I’m not sure why I’m so embarrassed to tell them, but I am. “I…I puked.”

They both still.

Link raises his eyebrows and glances at Trey over my head, a smile tugging at one side of his lips. Trey covers his mouth.

“What?” I ask just as they both start laughing uncontrollably

“You puked on the fucker?” Trey’s body shakes against mine. The sound makes my heart flutter, but I try my best to look annoyed.

“Well, sort of. On him. On his bed.” I try not to grin as I watch them collapse against the headboard, holding their sides like a pair of little boys snickering over a fart joke.

“I’m sorry,” Link holds up his hand as he gasps for air. “We’re not laughing at what happened.”

“No, absolutely not. But just the thought of you hurling on him. It’s fucking hilarious,” Trey says between chuckles.

I sigh. “You guys are such boys sometimes.”

“Right,” Link clears his throat and schools his features. “So then what?”

“Well, he just left, and I was still halfway drugged and coming down off adrenaline, so I passed out. When I woke up, he was still gone.”

Trey looks genuinely relieved. “Thank God for that gag reflex of yours.”

I nod, biting my lip and looking down, my smile fading. “I meant what I said last night though. I know what he did makes you angry. I’m angry too. But you can’t go after him. Either of you. I saw the look in his eyes. He’s legit crazy.” I wipe another tear from my face and grit my teeth, hating that I feel so weak and helpless.

“We can’t promise that,” Link says quietly. “He hurt you. He tried to rape you. It’s not okay.” Link runs his fingers along my jaw and dips his head to meet my gaze. “He doesn’t get to get away with hurting you, Charlotte. Do you understand?”

My full name on his lips causes the ticklish flutter in my heart to stammer in earnest, and I impulsively press my mouth to his, hoping I can somehow convey all the emotions crashing through my body with that one gesture.

Behind me, Trey exhales heavily.

Link pulls back. “You keep kissing me like that and you’ll start something Trey and I will most definitely finish,” he warns, digging his half chub against my thigh.

I press another kiss to his velvet lips, smiling against them with wicked intent, when my phone pings with a text.

“Hold that thought.” I pull away and reach over Link to grab my phone from the nightstand. My hand intentionally brushes over his cock, causing him to growl and eye me darkly.

Fiona

Hey babe. Are you gone all weekend? I had to come back to campus. I tried to move my mom into the rehab place but it all went wrong.

“Fuck.” I hit the Call button next to her name. Link and Trey exchange a worried glance.

“Hello?” Fi answers, her voice cracking.

“Fi, what happened?”

“Her fucking boyfriend convinced her not to go. He gave her drugs. I found them on the couch passed out in their own vomit.” A sob catches in her throat. “I tried to make her go, but she just got pissed at me, saying all this hateful shit about how I think I’m better than her because I go to a big, fancy school.”

“Oh, honey,” I say softly.
