Trey perks up then, his smile returning as he hands me the lacy hot-pink panties.

I glance over at Link, who looks slightly disappointed.

“What?” I ask, my eyes narrowing.

“I was just hoping you’d pick the thong. I bet your ass would look sexy as hell in it.”

I roll my eyes but still blush at the comment. I glance at Trey. “Fine, give me those, too.”

Trey and Link look at each other and grin.

Boys.

I grab my jeans and shirt off the floor, then pick up Link’s hoodie, which is draped over his desk chair, and pull it over my head.

“I need to go grab my stuff from my place, and then I’ll meet you guys back on campus.”

The guys exchange a look.

“I’m coming with you,” Trey says. “Just give me five minutes to get ready.”

“It’s fine, Trey. I don’t need an escort.” But he’s already gone back to his room to get dressed.

“Like hell we’re going to let you go anywhere by yourself until we find Matt,” Link says, standing up and stepping into my space. He backs me against the wall and cages me in with his large hands on either side of my head. I feel the heat of his body infusing mine as he stares down at me with those gravestone eyes.

I sigh as I realize that fighting them on this is probably a losing battle.

“You’re mine now,” he growls. “And no one will ever fucking touch you again—besides Trey,” he amends. “Do you understand?”

I know I should probably object—toxic masculinity and all that—but the possession in his voice goes straight to my pussy, and all I can do is lick my lips and nod compliantly. His eyes track the movement, and I duck under his arms, moving to the door before we start mauling each other again.

“I’m just going to wait downstairs,” I say breathlessly, squirming at the wetness now coating my brand-new panties.

“Sure,” Link says with a knowing smirk, and I practically run out of the room.

CHAPTER FORTY-FIVE

CHARLIE

We all pile into Lincoln’s Range Rover, and he drives Trey and me over to my place so we can take my car back to campus. I’m surprised to see Seb’s black Lexus in the driveway when we pull up. We walk up the steps and through the front door.

“That you, kiddo?” Seb calls.

“Yes,” I answer as I walk into the kitchen.

“Sorry, I know I said I wasn’t coming back over the long weekend, but I had to make a last-minute run to Seattle, so I thought I’d stop on the way….” He turns and sees me standing there flanked by Link and Trey. His expression darkens. “What’retheydoing here,” he growls.

“We’re going back to campus together,” I say like I wasn’t just bawling my eyes out over these two the last time I saw Seb. His jaw ticks as he stares at them, his blue eyes darkening dangerously. “Take it easy, Seb,” I say quickly. “We’re okay now.”

“Yeah? Because the last time I saw you, you were crying so hard you could hardly breathe.”

The memory of one of our drunken nights over winter break comes back to me with alarming clarity. I flush and glance at Link and see a flash of guilt before he schools his expression.

“Actually, there’s something I need to talk to you about,” I say with a heavy swallow. Seb stares at me steadily and finally nods. He sits down at the kitchen island and waves his hand as an invitation for the rest of us to sit as well.

I scoot the chair back and sit. “I’m going to tell you something that happened last night, but I don’t want you to freak out.”

Seb tenses.
