Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.

“Ah,” I moan, the block in my throat moving ever so slightly as I try to find the strength to say it all back to her.

“You set me on fire. You make me feel safe. You make me want to see tomorrow. You make me want to fight for more,” she continues, her hips slamming down on my cock harder and faster.

“Fuck, Raven,” I rasp, and her eyes blow wide at the sound of my voice.

“Fuck. I love hearing my name from your lips,” she admits, and I cling to her hands like my life depends on it.

“Raven,” I repeat. My throat is sore, but the words are there as I give her what she wants. Her head tilts back, her eyes falling closed as she takes from me and fills me up all at once.

“Creed.”

I drag my lips up her throat at the sound of my name, loving it on her tongue just as much as she loves hers from my mouth.

“I love you, Raven,” I bite, my throat bobbing as I let the words spill out, and they’re the trigger.

I explode inside of her, wave after wave of raw emotion and pleasure taking over me as she squeezes my cock tight with her pussy, finding her own release. I capture her mouth with mine, claiming her cries of pleasure along with her orgasm as we come apart and meld back together as one.

Whatever it takes to protect her, to fight at her side, to face the world, I’ll do it all.

SEVENTEEN

RAVEN

Ican’t stay bundled up in Creed’s arms any longer. The need for the bathroom after being so royally fucked is unavoidable. Not even magic can make it go away. The second I step back into the room, I spot Creed perched at the bottom of the bed with my night tee in his hands.

He waves me closer, a lazy and relaxed smile on his face as he watches me approach. Wordlessly, he slips the material over my head and I silently appreciate the way he performs the actual task of it instead of just using magic to do it. His fingers drag down my sides delicately, reconnecting us once more as he plays with the hem of the top.

“No lessons today,” he states. It’s not a question, and I can’t think of a single reason to push back.

“It sounds like the perfect plan to me. I don’t give a fuck what trouble we might get into. That man was on the brink of no return yesterday and it wiped the floor with me to bring him back,” I admit, and a darkness attempts to fall over his features again. “Don’t do that,” I murmur.

“I’m not. I swear it.” He smiles, pressing a kiss to my stomach as his hands wrap around the back of my thighs, drawingpatterns over my skin. “Is there anything I can do to help you?” he offers, and I shake my head.

“I’m good. I’m just tired. Is there anything I should know about after I passed out? We didn’t really talk much when I first woke.”

He shakes his head, a hint of disappointment flashing in his eyes. “No, I wish I had something to give you. But the second you hit the ground, we got you the fuck out of there. You’ve been sleeping ever since.”

“That would probably explain why I’m so hungry then.”

He’s on his feet in the next breath, pulling me toward the door before I can utter another word. Heading into the lounge, I expect to see the others outside of the patio doors in full workout mode, but to my surprise, they’re sitting around the dining table.

“Oh good, the fuck bunnies are here,” Zane says with a smirk, making my cheeks heat as Creed throws his arm around my shoulder.

“What time is it?” I ask, hoping to distract them from the fact that there’s definitely the scent of sex clinging to Creed and me.

Brax shovels a forkful of eggs into his mouth before replying. “Almost ten.”

My eyes widen in surprise. “It’s a good thing we’re not doing classes today then,” I state as Creed guides me to my seat between Zane and Eldon before taking his own across from me beside Brax.

“You’ll return to classes when you’re fucking ready. Not when anyone else tries to tell you so,” he quickly retorts, waving his fork in my direction, and Creed knocks it away even though I’m completely aware that it’s not me he’s aiming it at.

Hopefully, what he’s saying doesn’t cause more of a stir, but truthfully, I still feel drained, and he’s right. I need to take a minute to heal myself. Otherwise, I’ll be no use to anyone.

I’ve located the new bunch of black strands in my hair, right at my crown, and I’m silently dreading the day that my entire head is black. So today, I don’t have to worry about anything going on past these four walls. It’ll be like the weekend again, only this time, I don’t have the luxury of forgetting all of the bullshit that’s happening.

“What do you want to spend the day doing?” I ask, and Zane grabs my thigh, drawing my attention to the fact that he’s wagging his eyebrows. Before he can speak a word of what’s going through his mind, Eldon beats him to it.
