“Weare indeed.”Ismiled at the two of them.
Theycertainly weren’t the first to come asking to join ourPacksinceIhad claimedDelilahas my mate.Infact, we had become a kind of haven for those who found themselves in situations likeLilahandIhad been in—completely in love but kept apart by the strictures of an ancient law that should no longer apply to those who weren’t blood related.
