They wouldn’t have been able to leave the Hellfire grounds as four prospects from Rage and Hellfire guarded the gates. So, the little troublemakers had to be somewhere. I looked for Rooster because Kit had been his shadow since the accident. But not today. Rooster sat on a picnic bench, tucking into two burgers, a huge plate of fries, and a beer in front of him. Bit early for that, but who was I to judge?

“Thalia,” I said, reaching out for my sister.

She turned to face me and smiled before wandering over. Bear followed with Mia in his arms.

“Roo’s kids and Troy. I don’t see them,” I murmured.

“Oh, they’ll be about somewhere,” Bear rumbled.

“Bear. Phoenix and the Rage old ladies just headed off the Princesses and Legacies. Where are our four active troublemakers? Because I wouldn’t put shit past them,” I mumbled.

Bear frowned and then paled. He passed Mia to Thalia.

“I’ll find them,” he muttered and took off at a run, taking Diesel—of course he’d do anything to escape his painful fate—and Tiny with him.

“Oh, I don’t like the feel of this,” I said and headed out after them. “Thal, can you please keep an eye out?”

“Sure,” Thalia called, amused.

I chased after Bear as he shot through the gate leading to the compound. Bone was manning it to ensure nobody intruded on our private land, and he nodded to me as I jogged after the three men.

“The Holy Terrors, have you seen them?” I asked.

“Yeah, about ten minutes ago. They were heading for the treeline at the back. Something about shutting up Rage Legacies,” Bone replied.

“Shit, shit, shit!” I exclaimed and raced off in that direction.

A part of the compound included a small wooded area. It was part of the walk to my house with Chance. I knew exactly what the four boys were planning. Bear, Diesel, and Tiny had gone in the opposite direction.

I jogged down the path that led to my home, and as I got near the pond, I saw movement.

“All of you, freeze!” I yelled.

“We getting kinky, baby?” Chance rumbled as he popped into view.

“Have you seen the Holy Terrors?” I gasped.

“No? What’s wrong?”

“They are going to mess with the Rage Legacies!” I exclaimed.

“Well, they’re slightly out-manned,” Chance drawled.

“Not if the Princesses are helping them. Phoe just separated the two groups, and I saw them head this way. The older teens were watching them, and we know how they feel about the younger generation,” I explained.

Chance paled. The older teens were of the opinion that the younger generation could fight it out. They’d only get involved if there was blood or broken bones.

“Aw crap.”

“Bones said he saw our four heading this way.”

“No, babe. I was just putting something in the house. The boys haven’t come here,” Chance replied, rubbing his chin.

“I bet they backtracked, the little shits,” I growled out.

“They’re Roo and Shee’s sons for a reason. And I know where they are.” Chance began to jog towards the back of the clubhouse.

I chased after him with a sinking sensation in my gut. As we rounded the back of it, I could hear shouts in the distance.
