Emir

I close my eyes and take a deep breath, savoring the scent of her skin—a mix of warm vanilla and soft musk that clings to me like a second skin. Her soft curves pressed against my chest as she sleeps, her gentle breaths against my neck sending shivers down my spine. I never thought I’d find someone like her, but she’s become an addiction I can’t shake loose. Ciara, my Ciara. I hold her close, feeling her heartbeat race under my fingertips as they lightly trace the delicate lines of her back, wondering how my life would’ve turned out if I hadn’t met her.

As a mobster with a criminal empire, I’ve faced more dangers than most men could ever imagine. Death threats, bloodshed, and betrayal were part of my daily routine, but with her in my life, it all seems worth it. She’s worth anything, any sacrifice. The thought of losing her haunts me.

I raise myself from the bed, moving quietly so as not to wake her, and step into the living room of our lavish penthouse suite. The city lights twinkle outside, painting the skyline in hues of gold and orange as the sun rises. I pour myself a glass, taking a sip as I think about our future. Together.

That thought alone brings a smile to my lips.

I grin, remembering the first time we met. She was at a club, absolutely stunning in her dress. She approached me, ordered a drink like she owned the place. We’ve been inseparable ever since. My heart rate speeds up just thinking about her.

“Yeah,” I whisper, “she’s something else.”

As the sun starts to set, I head home to prepare for our special night. I throw on a crisp black suit, feeling the weight of the world lift slightly as I imagine her reaction. The sound of my car door closing echoes through the empty street as I approach my penthouse apartment. The scent of simmering pasta sauce and garlic bread wafts from the kitchen where Ciara is cooking dinner. I walk in, my heart skipping a beat at the sight of her swaying hips as she hums along to the tune on the radio.

She turns towards me, a bright smile lighting up her face, “Hey gorgeous, got a surprise for you.”

“Let me guess,” I tease, “It involves candles and my favorite flowers?”

She grins slyly. “You know me too well.”

The smell of the restaurant-prepared food fills the air as we share a kiss. Her plump lips are so soft against mine, making me instantly hard. She leads me inside, the glow from the candles flickering on her voluptuous figure. The table is set elegantly, our favorite wine chilling in the cooler, and the restaurant’s signature scent of roses lingering in the air. My mouth waters at the thought of their deliciousness.

I help her into her seat, my fingers brushing against her supple skin. I can’t help but admire how she fills out the chair, her ample breasts pressing against the silk fabric of her dress.

“How does it feel?” She asks shyly.

I look up from my plate to see she’s wearing that goddess-like red dress that hugs her curves perfectly. It barely contains her luscious ass and ample chest. “It feels fucking incredible.” I smirk as I take a bite of the garlic bread, savoring the taste of buttery goodness melting in my mouth. We share stories of our day, laughing and enjoying each other’s company.

As we finish dinner, I lean in close, taking her hand in mine.

I reach into my pocket, pulling out a small box. “Ciara Johnson, will you be my partner in crime? My wife?”

She gasped, her eyes filling with tears as she nods. She squeals with joy, throwing her arms around my neck, kissing me passionately.

Epilogue

I feel the cool night air brush against my skin as I stand nervously at the altar, fiddling with my suit lapel. The garden is a picture of tranquility, lit up with twinkling lights, the delicate scent of roses and lilacs mingling with the gentle hum of a nearby water fountain. Everywhere I look, there’s beauty—from the lush greenery to the warm glow of candles flickering against the twilight sky. But when my gaze falls upon the aisle that leads to me, my heart skips a beat. She’s coming. My wife. The woman who holds my heart in her hands.

I can hear her footsteps on the soft earth path before I see her, the gentle swish-swish of her dress trailing behind her like a whisper against the silence. Her sweet perfume fills the air, heady and intoxicating, making my breath catch in my throat. Slowly, she emerges from the shadows, her voluptuous figure glowing in the soft light. Her skin is the color of dark honey, smooth like velvet against the satin of her wedding gown. Her hair is pulled up in an intricate bun that accentuates her almond-shaped eyes and pert nose, highlighting her full lips, made even redder by the deep pink gloss she’s wearing tonight. She looks like an angel sent from heaven itself.

As she approaches, her heels click-clack softly against the ground, drawing my attention to her long legs encased in sheer nylons. Her hands tremble slightly as they grip onto her bouquet, but it’s hardly noticeable as she strides towards me with determination. Her eyes meet mine, and for a moment, time stands still. The fire within them burns bright, yet there’s vulnerability there too—a softness that melts my heart. She takes my breath away.

“You look amazing,” I croak out, my voice rough with emotion.

She smiles shyly, biting her lower lip as she joins me at the altar. “Thank you.”

We lock eyes, and suddenly, all I can think about is claiming that mouth of hers with mine. I lean in close, our breaths mingling as I inhale deeply of that intoxicating scent that’s all her. Her lips part slightly, inviting me in. I’m about to accept when the officiant clears his throat impatiently nearby.

“Do you take each other as your lawfully wedded husband and wife?”

We both chuckle nervously before responding in unison, “I do.”

Soon enough, we exchange rings, vows, and finally seal our union with a passionate kiss. The taste of her is intoxicating—like sweet wine and honeycomb—and all I want is more. When we finally pull apart, I can feel the pulse racing in my neck where her fingers still rest lightly from where she held me close during the ceremony.
