Chapter One
Eleven Years Later
Christopher
It’s the twentieth of March and William still hasn't paid me back yet, I gave him an extra two months to pay and I haven't heard not one word from him. Now I have to do this the hard way and I really don't want to do that, not with William. Daniel walks into my bedroom with a serious face on and I already know what he’s going to say.
“Christopher I hate to say it but you have to make it clear that we mean business. You gave him two extra months. He’s not a bad guy, but he knows what we have to do.” I sigh.
“I know Daniel, I’m going to deal with it today don’t worry about it. Are you going to deal with the club problem today?” I ask curiously.
“Yes I am don’t worry about it, I got this.” I nod my head in agreement. Grabbing my car keys I head out and went straight to William’s house. Getting out of my car, I take a deep breath ‘please have my money’. I knock on the door and wait for an answer. William opens the door and his smile left his face, that's not a good sign. I'm guessing he was expecting someone else.
“Christopher come on in.” I walk inside I know he doesn't have my money but part of me wants him to have it. I turned around to face William and he looks tense and worried, that’s just great.
“William it's time where's my money? I gave you two extra months to get it.”
“I know you did, I only have two thousand dollars.” You gotta be fucking kidding me.
“Are you serious even with two thousand you still owe twelve thousand dollars.”
“I know and you will get it all I just need more time.”
“William I need collateral if you can't pay me.” This is starting to get ridiculous.
“I know you do. You can have my daughter until I can pay you back.” That's when Nicole walks in the door and she is very pissed off and I don't blame her one bit, I’m not happy about this either.
“You can't be fucking serious. I'm not something you just give away because you owe someone money, I'm not anybody’s property.” Nicole yells. Although I own her now I'm going to stay out of it, for now, she has every right to be upset.
“It's temporary,” William says to Nicole.
“That's not the fucking point, you gave me to Mr. Thorn without batting an eye and you just keep on ruining my life.” Why the hell is she useing my last name for she knows who I am very well.
“I will get you out of this, I promise.”
“Dad your promises mean shit to me, you don't ever keep them not a damn one.” Nicole grabs the door handle and opens the door.
“Where are you going?” William yells.
“Anywhere but here. If I stay any longer I will punch you in your fucking face.” Nicole slams the door closed.
“I'm sorry about that and for my daughter overreacting.” I glare at him. Now he’s irritating me.
“She didn't overreact William. You gave her to me she’s not stupid she knows what that means. I have to go I'll talk to you when I can.” Walking out of the house I was surprised to see Nicole waiting outside. Nicole looks up with a sad face and I don't like seeing that on her beautiful face.
“I'm surprised you didn't leave yet.”
“What's the point of that? You will just find me and take me with you. I just saved us both the irritation.”
“Smart thinking, let's go then.” I open the car door for her and I saw a small smile appear on her face.
“What is it?” I ask curiously.
“Nothing I just like this car.” I get into the car with a smile on my face.
“Really?” I'm kinda surprised that she likes cars in any way.
“Yes, I want an Audi R8 just in silver.”
