Chapter Three
Christopher
I start shifting in bed as I start having flashes of Nicole leaving again and again.
“Don’t leave Nicole.” I felt hands on my face and I woke up in a panic.
“Shhh it’s okay I’m right here,” Nicole says in a quiet voice, I laid back down and Nicole moves closer to me and places her head on my chest and I wrap my arms around her. It was just a dream, I won’t let her leave me again.
When I woke up in the morning Nicole was still in my bed sleeping. She looks so peaceful and beautiful. I ran my fingers through her brown wavy hair and she sturs a little but moves closer to my body. I kiss her head and wrap my arm around her. The door opens and Daniel walks in I place my finger on my lips and he nods his head with a smile. He’s been wanting me to be with Nicole for the longest. He walks over to me and whispers in my ear.
“Are you still coming?”
“Yes, I’m taking her to Spencer’s place then I will head over to the clubhouse.” Daniel walks out of the room and Nicole starts to shift in my arms. Her eyes open and I give her a smile.
“Good morning Nicole.”
“Good morning.”
“I have to go to the clubhouse, I’m going to drop you off to Spencer’s place then I will head over and don’t leave his house.”
“I can just walk there it’s two houses down from yours.” She has a point, but can I trust her not to run.
“Fine, just remember if you do run from me I will find you.” Nicole rolls her eyes and I get the urge to spank her ass until it’s nice and pink.
“I wasn’t going to. You’re just going to have to learn to trust me like you used to.” She gets off my bed and leaves without saying another word. I sigh that’s not how I wanted this to go down, I hate when she makes points that I always did trust here until William made her leave and when she came back home she hasn’t come to see any of us. Maybe it’s time to get things back to normal for us all. After getting dressed I walk out of the house and saw Nicole walking to Spencer’s I got on my bike and ride away without watching her walk in his house. When I got to the clubhouse Daniel was already here. Something feels off his demeanor is highly wired.
“What’s going on Daniel?” I ask with concern.
“Something is going on with Kate and she won’t tell me what’s wrong it’s frustrating.” I know where he's coming from Nicole and Kate are alike they are both strong willed and don’t know how to ask for help when they needed it. It’s the most frustrating thing ever.
“We will keep an eye on her and make sure she’s not in trouble for anything.”
“Thank you. How’s Nicole?” I sigh.
“I think I pissed her off.”
“And why the fuck would you do that for?” Henry asks with his arms crossed.
“I didn’t mean to it’s just… shit, I don’t even know what I’m doing half the time with her.”
“From what I’ve seen nothing you have been doing, absolutely nothing to make her yours you are an idiot. You finally have her where you want her and you are just making things hard for her when you're supposed to make it easier.” I hate it when they are right it’s annoying.
“What’s happening today?” I ask.
“Daniel and JJ are going to deal with the gun trade I need you to stake out the police station there are rumors that ATF is in town, we need to know if that’s true or not.”
“I’m on it.”
“Good everyone knows what they have to do get busy,” Henry says. We all left and I got into my car instead of my bike. I drove towards the station I’m hoping that the rumors are not true I don’t need another problem and the club doesn’t need this shit either.
I have been watching the station for the last three hours and I haven’t seen anything. My phone buzzes and I took it out of my pocket.
Hayden- How is everything on your end? The boys are back and good on this end.
Christopher- It’s pretty quiet over here I’ll keep you updated.
Hayden- Stay for another hour I don’t want you out there forever trying to find out if that rumor is true or not.
