“I’ll happily fuck you on the plane,” he smiles. “And finger fuck you again at the main gate of the house when we get there if you start to get nervous again.”

I jokingly shove him from me and turn to zip my suitcase on the bed.

“Wait.” I turn to look at him. “There’s a main gate? Does that mean there’s more than one?”

Garrison’s phone buzzes and he lifts it from the nightstand before saying, “The car is downstairs to take us to the airport.”

“We aren’t taking your car?”

“Dad insisted that we use his plane.” He grabs the handles of both our suitcases.

“I’m sorry.” I tilt my head, “Did you sayhisplane?”

And just like that, I’m anxious as hell again.

CHAPTER

TWO

GRANT

Not sure how much Garrison and Abigail will be bringing with them for their week-long visit, I opt for the G-Class to pick them up from Parker Field. But based on the size of the wrapped package currently being unloaded from the plane, that was the right decision.

Exiting the car, I walk behind it and open the tailgate for the ground crew carrying their luggage.

Garrison steps from the door of the Cessna first. He flashes me a brief smile before turning to offer his hand to the woman he has brought home with him.

The breeze blows her lightly curled blonde hair across her face as she exits the plane. Lifting her hand to tuck her hair behind her ear, the sun glimmers across the massive diamond adorning her finger. That glimmer is nothing in comparison to the sparkle of her emerald-colored eyes. Pouty pink lips and a slightly upturned nose round out her face.

Reaching the bottom of the stairs, she steps beside Garrison, revealing the lean and curvaceous body that his body was hiding.

She’s fucking magnificent.

“It’s been too long, Garrison,” I smile and extend my hand toward him as I approach the two of them. When he takes my hand, I pull him close for a hug. Patting my hand on his back, I whisper with a gruff tone with a hint of fury, “Way too fucking long.”

Pulling back from Garrison, the smile on his face quickly fades when he realizes my displeasure at the length of time it has taken him to return to Adelaide Cove.

“And you must be Abigail.” I turn my attention to the blonde with a broad smile.

A nervous smile spreads across her face. “Please feel free to call me Abby. It’s a pleasure to finally meet you, Mr. Geyer.”

“Abby, I’m going to have to insist that you call me Grant,” I reply as I gently shake her small, soft hand. Holding onto it probably a tad longer than I should.

The ground crew closing the tailgate on the G-Class draws my attention, and I release her hand.

“As gorgeous of a day as it is, why don’t we head to the house instead of getting to know each other out here on the tarmac?” I gesture toward the SUV.

Garrison’s hand slides down the gentle curvature of Abigail’s back to lead her toward the car. Opening the front passenger door, he says, “I’ll sit in the back.”

“Don’t be silly.” She steps from his touch, moving toward the rear. “Sit up front with your dad. I’m probably going to be too busy drooling at the massive houses you told me about to be good conversation anyway.”

Garrison closes her door and climbs into the front seat as I walk around the car. Climbing in, I ask, “How was your flight?”

“It was good,” Garrison responds with a sincere nod.

“It was awfully generous of you,” Abigail chimes in from the backseat.

“It was nothing.” I glance in the rearview mirror to meet her eyes. “What is the point of owning planes if you aren’t going to use them?”
