It feels like…home.

Our skin already firmly pressed together; I push harder into his embrace. Needing the comfort he’s giving me.

His lips kiss against my neck and I feel him beginning to grow hard against my ass. Toying with him, I wiggle my ass until I am tightly wedged against his hips.

He continues to kiss and suck at my neck, and I groan with need for him.

God, he feels so good.

“You wouldn’t believe the dream I had, Garr.” I hold his arm tighter against me as he continues to tease my neck.

He shifts his hips and I feel his tip resting against my pussy. He tightens his embrace, slowly sliding himself inside me as he whispers in my ear, “That wasn’t a dream, kitten.”

CHAPTER

SEVENTEEN

GRANT

Abigail hasn’t been here long, just a couple of weeks, but she is unlike any of the others. None of them have so willingly submitted to each of my desires. Or so eagerly followed my commands.

She enjoys being under my control.

She was fucking made to be my pet.

Curled into a ball beside me, she rests with her head on my thigh as I aimlessly stroke her soft blonde hair while I finalize some programming on my laptop. The unexpected ring of the doorbell draws me from both my work and my kitten.

“Be a good little kitten,” I address her as I stand from the couch and give her a knowing nod.

“Yes, sir,” she responds as she gets comfortable on the couch.

I catch a glimpse of a police cruiser parked out front as I pass a window.

Nothing ruins my day like this asshole.

“Detective Michales,” I greet my unwanted guest when I open the door.

“Mr. Geyer.” He tips his ridiculous fedora.

“I am assuming this isn’t a social call.” My tone is riddled with my disdain for him.

I mean, he could put me on death row if he didn’t completely suck at his job.

“It’s not,” he responds flatly. “I’m here in regard to Mia Dillon.”

“We’ve been through this more than once. If you want to speak with me regarding any of your witch hunt bullshit, you call my attorney.”

“One of your cars was seen pulling from her property a couple weeks ago,” he continues.

“Maybe I wasn’t quite clear. I don’t have any plans to tell you what the weather is doing or the time of day without my lawyer present. Now, I would appreciate it if you let yourself off my property the same way you managed to help yourself onto it.” I push the door shut before he has a moment to say another word.

Walking past the window, I watch Detective Michales’s eyes scan over the front of my estate as he leisurely meanders back to his car.

Continuing to watch him from the concealment of the curtains, I pull out my phone and text the group.

Detective Asshole is on the hunt again
