"Alpha?" Miles interjected before this could grow uncomfortable. "Are you in?"

Miller stared up at Summer, his hand resting on her thigh, thumb tracing small circles there.

"I'm in."

The smile that spread across Summer's face was breathtaking. Just that one small expression changed her from small and timid to a goddess. Sometimes I couldn't help but stare at her gorgeous curves, blonde hair, and captivating blue eyes.

We were a lucky pack.

Her earlier cries of pleasure still echoed in my mind. The way her breath caught had my cock straining against my jeans again. I couldn't wait to sink back into her heat, claim her with a fresh bite, and reclaim the omega I never should have left.

She was mine, always had been, but now she was ours.

That felt right. Not one of us could deny the attraction between us and it would only amplify when we could scent her again.

I missed it. Hell, I'd dreamt about the strawberry scent and now I wanted it more than ever. She was the embodiment of summer, the scent tart, sweet, and fresh.Just as perfect as she is.

"Where does this leave us?" Summer asked. She chewed her bottom lip, a sure sign she was nervous. Bash tugged it from between her teeth and brushed a kiss over it. That gorgeous heat was back in her cheeks again.

"With us," he said simply. "We have a room already for Cole, one that he’s been using more and more since you arrived. Plus, we've been working on one for you and Theo too."

She frowned. Not the reaction any of us saw her having.

"But Beatty... this is home and Theo is so happy here. He loves the yard and..."

She trailed off, her hands twisting together.

"I'll need time to think on that one."

"We go at your pace, Sunshine," Dean promised. "There's no rush."

"Cole has already been slowly moving in. He can finish so we're all in one place, then we just keep going like we are," Miller said gently. "We need to go on a few dates. I want some time with you all to myself, and I guarantee I'm not the only one."

She gave him a small smile. "I like the sound of that."

"There's enough of us we can help keep an eye on Theo," I pointed out. "Take turns and rely on each other." She looked at me, face hard to read, then glanced over at our son. The longer she watched him laughing at his movie, the softer her expression grew.

She nodded once, as if she were convincing herself she wanted this too. That she could rely on us to care for him like she would. She'd mentioned a few times she hadn't trusted many people with him and now that he was in my life, I could understand why. I wanted to protect him with my entire being, because the world was a crazy place.

But he was safe with us. All of us.

"That works for me," she finally agreed. "He loves you guys already. And he's not an easy kid to win over."

We all glanced over at the kid who won over our hearts.

This was what our pack needed to be complete. All of the reluctance I'd felt before she came back was gone. Now all I could feel was... hopeful.

"Wait, did you say you've been working on a room for us?" she asked, letting out a startled laugh. "So you thought about this already?"

Miles let out a laugh. "Every day. I knew you were mine." The pure conviction in his tone had her biting back a smile.

"We didn't go overboard," Bash said, the annoyance in his tone strong.

Dean gave him an eye roll. "We made Bash control himself. He wanted to go all out, but we didn't want to scare you away. Plus, a personal space deserves to have input from the person living in it."

"You guys would have loaded this kid down with an entire toy store," she accused playfully, giving Bash and Miller especially a fake glare.

"Oh, for sure," Bash said, completely unapologetic.
