Chris crushed his mouth over hers and she immediately wrapped her legs around his waist. He took hold of his shaft and positioned the head at her entrance. God it was so hot. That was the first thing he noticed. Without the barrier of a condom, her heat assaulted him before he even got inside her. He pushed his way inside her with a groan. “Oh God, honey. You feel so good.” She was drenched and he slid in without effort.

She stiffened ever so slightly and his attention went back to her. He slid his arms around her, pulling her closer to him. “Say my name, baby. Say it.”

“Chris,” she breathed as he slid out of her.

“Again.”

“Chris.”

He rewarded her with a thrust of his cock, sheathing himself back inside her. “That’s right, baby. It’s me. I’ve got you. You’re alright, baby.”

She squeezed him and his arms tightened around her. “Oh, it’s so good, baby,” he told her.

She pulled him lower until her mouth was at his ear. “Sarah,” she whispered.

He leaned back a little and stared into her eyes. She was crying again, but not out of pain or fear. He used both hands to smooth the hair out of her face. “Sarah,” he repeated. “Sarah.” He kissed her gently. “My beautiful girl has a beautiful name. I love you, Sarah. I love you so much.”

In the morning, Chris took Hayley to the pharmacy where she got a morning after pill. She took it in front of him in the cab of the truck with a bottle of water. “Hayley, you don’t have to do that,” he told her. “You can wait until you get home. I trust you.”

She smiled at him. “I trust you, too. But still.”

“Yeah okay,” he replied.

When he pulled up in front of the house, he yanked her into his lap and kissed her senseless.

“Mmmm,” she said. “If you don’t stop, we’re going to need another pill.”

“You’re right,” he said, pushing her off him. “Go. Make me something good for lunch.”

She grinned. “In your kitchen. Barefoot but not pregnant?”

He rolled his eyes at her. “Far too much sass.”

She got out and he laid on the horn. Minutes later, Easy appeared, snarling. “What the hell are you doing?” he said, getting into the cab and slamming the door. He took an angry bite of a bagel.

“Driving us to work.”

“It’s not even 8 o’clock.”

“So?” Chris said, pulling away from the curb.

“So I’m not enlisted anymore. You can’t possibly expect me to be functional before breakfast.”

Chris smiled and shook his head. “Easy, Easy, Easy.”

Jimmy eyed him suspiciously. “What are you so happy about?”

“Nothing.”

“Mmm hmmm. Look just because you woke up for a morning quickie doesn’t mean-”

“Did not. Had errands to run.”

“And that’s why you’re so goddamn chipper? Because you ran errands?”

Chris pulled up to the stop sign at the corner and looked at Jimmy. He grinned. “Sarah.”

Jimmy’s eyebrows knitted together. “Who the hell is Sarah?” Chris shot him a look and he said, “Oh. Non-functional before breakfast, remember?” He took a bite of bagel and chewed it. When he swallowed he said, “Pretty name. Guess she’s over the tramp stamp.”

Chris’s face darkened. “God. Don’t even mention it. I had no idea that woman was so damn crazy.”

At the garage, Chris whistled his way into the office and back out again later to rebuild a transmission. Tex sauntered in and cocked his head at his boss. “Make up sex?” he asked.

“Sarah,” Easy called out over a clutch plate.

Tex grinned. “Even better. Pretty name,” he told Chris. “Good thing you didn’t get ‘Hayley’ tattooed on your ass. Would’ve been an awkward moment.”

Hawk parked his bike and entered through the bay doors. “ ‘Sup?” he asked of all and sundry.

“Hayley’s name is Sarah,” Jimmy replied.

Hawk considered this. “It’s a good thing you didn’t-”

“Beat you to it,” Tex said, grinning.

“Bastard,” Hawk replied.

Chapter 30

“Happy Birthday!” Hayley cried, launching herself off the top step of the stairs and into Chris’s arms.

He caught her easily and wrapped his arms around her nuzzling her hair. “Well, that was nice to come home to. Thanks, Slick.”

She squeezed him hard and then leaned back. “Go inside! Get a shower! So we can start celebrating!”

He pulled her close again and kissed her. “Liking the sound of that. Does it by any chance involve me in my birthday suit?”

“No!” she scoffed.

He frowned. “Damn.”

She slapped his chest. “That’s later.”

He grinned. “Good to know.”

“Hurry up!” she ordered, practically shoving him in the door.

Chris hurried through his shower, as ordered, and re-entered the living area in a pair of gym shorts and bare feet.

“Ta da!” Hayley said, grinning. Her arms were out like a game show hostess.

His eyebrows knitted together. “Um.”

She put her hands on her hips and glared at him. “Seriously?” she asked sternly.

“Baby, I…uh-”

She huffed at him. “The couch,” she said, pointing at it.
