Bella squealed. “What are you doing? I have more boxes to unpack.”

“Fuck the boxes.” He growled. “I’ve been watching your sexy ass in those leggings all morning and they’re coming off.”

Wow.

She had no idea leggings were that attractive to men.

Thank you Lululemon.

Blake made quick work of turning on the shower and pulling their clothes off, then slapping her bare ass as she stepped under the water.

“Hair down,” he rasped, tugging out her hair tie and nudging her head back so the water ran over it.

Bella wiped her face with both hands and when she opened her eyes, Blake was staring down at her. His enormous body towering over hers.

He didn’t say anything. Just ran a hand over her wet hair, again and again, his gaze roaming every inch of her face.

“I promise to respect you during our time together, Bella.” His voice was low and thick.

She felt an unexpected emotion rush to the surface.

“Blake,” she whispered.

“You know what kind of lover I am,” he continued. “I’ve never spent more than a few nights with a woman. I’m demanding, but I will always ensure you are safe and pleasured.”

“I know that.”

“Usually when people live together, it’s because they are in love. We’ve skipped a lot of conversations where we’d learn about each other. Where we’d share what we need, want, and expect. I need you to tell me if my dominant desires make you uncomfortable.”

Oh.

“It’s not a one-night thing. This is who I am. You will have dominance in our contract and possibly even finances. I’m okay with that. I’m secure enough in who I am and my abilities to know if InkWell goes under, I will create another business one day. But in the bedroom, in our sex life, I am in charge.”

Bella shivered.

“I’ll push you outside your limits. I’ll own your body. I’ll own your pleasure.”

Oh, God.

“Okay,” she said, placing her hands on his solid pecs and following the trail a drip of water took.

“Bella,” he said, lifting her chin. “I want you to have a safe word. You can use it when we’re fucking or at any point in our relationship. It will tell me you’re not feeling safe.”

She nodded but was beginning to wonder if she needed to be worried about this.

Nothing he’d done had made her feel unsafe.

Not yet.

“Blake, you’ve never done anything I wasn’t comfortable with,” Bella said. “I trust you. With my body.”

Not with her heart.

“Good. Now let’s make sure you always feel that way and I know the difference between pushing your sub boundaries and you getting off on my dominance.”

Oh.

“Give me a word, sweetheart,” he insisted and as she glanced up at the water falling down on them, she smiled.
