Aloudvibrationpullsme from my slumber. I groan rolling over on my bed reaching my hand out from my comforter. My fingertips dance around the nightstand to find the offending noise. I hear a clatter as objects fall to the floor then I find it. I lift my phone to my face checking the time and caller ID.

7:15am. It’s Lexy.

“Lexy? Is everything ok?”

“Couldn’t be better. I just thought of the perfect way to get Saint back.”

I rub my tired eyes yawning.

“I’m listening.”

“He’s taking the Harley to school today, Jordin.”

“And?”

“He never takes the Harley.”

“What are you planning to do with it?” I ask concerned remembering what she said about Saint being attached to it.

“I’m going to steal it!”

Chapter Twenty-three

Jordin

Lexyusesthesparekey to unlock the handlebar lock.

“You sure about this?”

“Not really,” she whispers pushing the bike to go forward down the lane towards the gym hall. Thankfully Saint parked his bike in the teachers parking lot that’s next to the gym instead of the student one. The gym is empty at this time of day so it should be easy to sneak the bike in and hide it in the storeroom at the back of the hall.

“The big girl’s ball’s I grew earlier have shrivelled and shrunk back to size, but it’s too late to go back now.” Lexy rushes out.

“I did try to warn you it’s not a good idea to mess with them. Especially Saint,” I tell her as I help to push the bike, keeping it straight.

“I know but he’s had this coming for a long time. All three of them do. Might teach him a lesson that he can’t treat people like shit on his boot.”

“I’m not saying he doesn’t deserve it for all he’s had done to you but when he sees its gone he’s going to flip his shit, like worse than the incredible hulk. What are we going to do if he finds out it was us?” I question as we reach the gym doors.

“He won’t. Just stick your head in the door and make sure the coast is clear. Quick before anyone sees us.”

I poke my head in listening for any hint of movement.

“All clear.”

Chapter Twenty-four

Jordin

It’snotuntilfifthperiod when we hear thunderous roars and banging coming from the hall near our classroom. Everyone rushes out to see what’s happening, although I think I have a pretty good idea what it is.

Saint standing in the middle of the hall going completely feral and I’m not even sorry. Fuck him. Why should I feel any remorse after the shit him and his buddies have been putting my friend through. It’s just a pity she can’t claim ownership of being the one who stole the most feared person in this school’s bike.

Lexy slides her slender hand in mine suddenly looking pale so I give her hand a gentle squeeze.

“Stick to the plan. We were here all along remember?”

Its carnage in the halls. Caleb and Colton stand next to Saint trying to calm him down when he takes another swing into a locker with a baseball bat. He looks murderous and I’m not going to lie I’m a little scared right now.
