“Look what the cat dragged in. The toilet cubicle full today, Lexy? Georgina asks in her resting bitch face.

“Funny,” Lexy replies. “Why don’t you just go about your day and leave us in peace?”

“I hear the party ended on Saturday night because of you,” Christy accuses before turning to look at her friends.

“She was trying to get off with some guy and when he turned her down she wouldn’t take the hint,” Mel says butting in. “Skank would try to screw anything.”

“That’s not what happened,” Lexy says sounding irritated. Why does she let this girl and her friends get the better of her?

“Yes it is, and when he pushed your desperate ass away you had to get your stepbrother to intervene. You’re pathetic.”

“Seriously! Just go away,” Lexy pleads trying hard not to bite back.

Georgina takes no notice turning her attention to me, “I like your skirt Jordin.”

My face pales. Did Caleb tell people what he just did to me?

“I saw something similar the other day at the mall but it wasn’t as nice,” she says making me relax slightly. Maybe he didn’t tell people after all?

“Why don’t you come join us? You can tell me where you bought it,” she offers. “You don’t need to slum it with the school reject.”

Lexy’s eyes narrow to slits.

“Ahh it’s nice that you like my style,” I say smiling up at her. “I really like your foundation. It makes your skin glow.”

“Awh thanks babe,” she says looking smug at Lexy. This bitch actually thinks I’ll blow Lexy off for them. Never happening.

“What shade of come is it?” I taunt.

She glowers at me settling her hands on her hips, “Excuse me?”

I repeat myself only a little slower this time, “The come all over your face. What shade is it?”

Her friends snigger from behind her back. Some friends. Her face begins to beam bright red with embarrassment. That’s it bitch, learn that Lexy is not your punching bag anymore, not when she has me to stand next to her. She quickly corrects herself glowering at me then back to Lexy.

“It’s Saint shade. A limited edition,” she replies smugly.

Lexy drops her spoon hard on the table.

“Saints a person Georgina not a collectible, but I guess you’re too dense to know the difference,” Lexy jabs.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” she sneers crossing her thin arms.

“I don’t have the time or the crayons to explain the difference to you.”

“The fuck did you just say you little bitch? Are you implying I’m thick or something?” Georgina snaps clenching her fist moving closer towards Lexy. I ready myself to stand when Saint bellows, “GEORGINA.”

She stops at once plastering on a cruel and devious smile.

“Looks like big brothers calling,” she says leaning into Lexy to whisper in her ear. “Mustn’t have got enough of me this morning.”

“Just leave,” Lexy seethes.

Georgina giggles cruelly pulling away from Lexy then saunters off towards Saint.

“Lucky for you,” Christy says turning my stomach when she spits in the half-eaten yogurt Lexy was just enjoying.

“We’ll be catching up with you real soon Jordin. Enjoy your lunch ladies.”
