“Wow. That was fucking weird,” Falcon blurted, looking between Crow and Gail with a fat grin on his face. “I’m glad Talon’s alive so we can all share our feelings.”

Crow pinched the bridge of his nose.

Gail giggled.

I laughed, coughed, and nearly choked.

My woman, my beautiful mate, brought a straw to my lips. “Drink.”

Cool, refreshing water flooded my mouth, and I swallowed, chugging it down until the straw was empty.

“Better?”

“Oh, yeah,” I answered, tugging her closer. “I can show you.”

Pink dusted her cheeks as she flushed. “Talon.”

A wicked grin spread across my face.

“Uh, Talon,” Falcon called.

“What?”

“I suggest you take it easy until our pres leaves the room.”

I turned my head, catching the murderous expression on his face. “Just a sec, pres.” I reached for Gail and pulled her against me. “Hey, beautiful. Need to tell you something.”

“Oh? What’s that?”

“I love you.”

As long as I lived, I would never, ever forget the look on her face. Surprise. Delight. Awe.

Before she could reply, I claimed her mouth, kissing her until she had to pull back to breathe.

“Crow. I love your sister. She’s my mate. My fucking heartbeat. You need to know I’ll fucking kill to keep her.”

“I guess I can’t argue with that.”

Gail turned to him. “You’re okay with it?”

“I don’t have a choice. You love him too.”

I grasped her chin, forcing her to look into my eyes. “Do you? It’s not too fast?”

She smiled, and it was so fucking breathtaking it hurt to see. “I’ve loved you since the night you bought all that food and two chicken sandwiches for me because you didn’t know if I wanted tomato and lettuce or not.”

I couldn’t help but grin. “You love me.”

“I don’t think I’ll ever be able to stop,” she admitted.

“Fuck. How did I get so lucky?”

She glanced at her brother. “Leave, Austin.”

He shook his head. Sighed. Then nodded. “Fine.” The reply didn’t sound grumpy at all. Good for him.

He opened the door and closed it behind him.
